아모스 4장

1 사마리아산 속에 있는 너희, 바샨의 암소들아, 이 말을 들으라. 너희는 가난한 자들을 압제하고, 빈곤한 자들을 으스러뜨리며, 자신들의 주인들에게 말하기를, “술을 가져와서 우리가 마시게 하라.” 하는도다.

1 Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink.

2 주 하나님이 그의 거룩함을 두고 맹세하였나니, 보라, 그날들이 너희 위에 임하리라는 것이요, 그가 너희를 갈고리들로, 너희의 후대를 낚싯바늘들로 끌고 가리라는 것이라.

2 The Lord GOD hath sworn by his holiness, that, lo, the days shall come upon you, that he will take you away with hooks, and your posterity with fishhooks.

3 그리고 너희는 파손된 곳들로 나가리니, 모든 암소마다 그녀 앞에 있는 그곳으로 나가리라. 그리하여 너희가 그들을 궁전 안으로 던지리라. 주가 말하노라.

3 And ye shall go out at the breaches, every cow at that which is before her; and ye shall cast them into the palace, saith the LORD.

4 ¶ 벧엘로 와서 불법을 행하라. 길갈에서 불법을 가중시키라. 그리고 매일 아침에 너희의 희생 제물들을 가져오고 삼 년이 지나서 너희의 십일조들을 가져오라.

4 ¶ Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years:

5 그리고 감사들을 드리는 희생 제물을 누룩과 함께 바치라. 그리고 자원하여 드리는 제물들을 반포하고 공표하라. 오, 너희, 이스라엘 자녀들아, 이는 너희가 이것을 좋아하기 때문이라. 주 하나님이 말하노라.

5 And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

6 ¶ 그리하여 내가 또한 너희의 모든 도시들 안에서 너희 이빨들을 깨끗하게 하였고 너희의 모든 처소들 안에서 빵을 부족하게 하였도다. 그럼에도 너희는 나에게로 되돌아오지 아니하였노라. 주가 말하노라.

6 ¶ And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

7 그리고 또한 수확할 때까지 아직 삼 개월이나 있었을 때 내가 너희에게 비를 주지 않았도다. 그런즉 내가 한 도시 위에는 비가 내리게 하였고, 다른 도시 위에는 비가 내리지 아니하게 하였도다. 한 구획은 그 위에 비가 내렸고, 그 위에 비가 내리지 아니한 구획은 말랐도다.

7 And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.

8 그렇게 하여 두세 도시 사람들이 방황하다가 한 도시에 이르렀으니 물을 마시고자 함이라. 그러나 그들은 만족하지 못하였도다. 그럼에도 너희는 나에게 되돌아오지 아니하였노라. 주가 말하노라.

8 So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

9 내가 마름병과 흰곰팡이로 너희를 쳤도다. 너희의 정원들과 너희의 포도원들과 너희의 무화과나무들과 너희의 올리브나무들이 늘어났을 때 모충이 그들을 집어삼켰도다. 그럼에도 너희가 나에게 되돌아오지 아니하였노라. 주가 말하노라.

9 I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

10 내가 이집트에서 행한 방식에 따라 너희 가운데 역병을 보냈도다. 너희 청년들을 내가 칼로 살해하였고 너희의 말들을 빼앗아 갔도다. 그리고 내가 너희 진영들의 악취를 너희 콧구멍으로 올라오게 하였도다. 그럼에도 너희는 나에게 되돌아오지 아니하였노라. 주가 말하노라.

10 I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

11 하나님이 소돔과 고모라를 뒤집어엎으셨듯이 내가 너희 중 일부를 뒤집어엎었도다. 그리하여 너희는 타는 것에서 끄집어낸, 불붙은 나뭇조각같이 되었도다. 그럼에도 너희는 나에게로 되돌아오지 아니하였노라. 주가 말하노라.

11 I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

12 그러므로 오, 이스라엘아, 내가 너에게 이와 같이 행하겠노라. 그리고 내가 이것을 너에게 행하겠으니, 오, 이스라엘아, 너의 하나님을 만날 준비를 하라.

12 Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.

13 이는 보라, 산들을 형성하고 바람을 창조하며 그의 생각이 무엇인지 사람에게 선언하는 이요, 아침을 어둠으로 만들고 땅의 높은 곳들 위를 밟는 이, 주, 만군의 하나님이 그의 이름이기 때문이로다.

13 For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.
