미가 3장

1 그때 내가 이같이 말하였도다. “오, 야곱의 수장들아, 너희, 이스라엘 집의 통치자들아, 내가 너희에게 간구하노니, 들으라. 너희가 공의를 알아야 하지 아니하겠느냐?

1 And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment?

2 너희는 선을 증오하고 악을 사랑하는도다. 너희는 그들에게서 그들의 피부를 뜯어내고 그들의 뼈들에서 그들의 살을 뜯어내는도다.

2 Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;

3 너희는 또한 나의 백성의 살을 먹고 그들에게서 그들의 피부를 벗겨 내는도다. 그리고 저들이 그들의 뼈들을 꺾고 그것들을 조각조각 써나니, 냄비로 말하자면 가마솥 안에 담긴 고기같이 하는도다.”

3 Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.

4 그때 그들이 주께 부르짖을 것이나 그는 그들의 말을 듣지 아니하리라. 그는 심지어 그 시간에 그들에게서 자신의 얼굴을 숨기리니, 그들이 자신들의 처신들 가운데서 스스로 패악하게 행한 대로 하리라.

4 Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.

5 ¶ 나의 백성으로 하여금 잘못을 범하게 하는 예언자들에 관하여 주가 이같이 말하노라. 그들은 자신들의 이로 깨물면서 “평화”라고 외치는도다. 그런데 그들의 입안에 넣어 주지 아니하는 이, 그를 대적하여 심지어 그들이 전쟁을 예비하는도다.

5 ¶ Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.

6 그러므로 밤이 너희에게 임할 것이요, 너희는 하나의 현시도 가지지 못하리라. 그런즉 그것이 너희에게 어둠이 되리니, 너희는 점을 치지 못하리라. 그리하여 해가 예언자들 위로 내려갈 것이요, 낮이 그들 위에서 어두워지리라.

6 Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.

7 그때 선견자들이 부끄러워할 것이요, 점술가들이 당혹스러워하리라. 진정 그들이 모두 자신들의 입술을 가리리라. 이는 하나님의 응답이 없기 때문이라.

7 Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.

8 ¶ 그러나 참으로 나는 주의 영을 통하여 권능과 공의와 막강함으로 충만하나니, 야곱에게 그의 불법을, 이스라엘에게 그의 죄를 선언하려 함이라.

8 ¶ But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.

9 너희, 야곱 집의 수장들과 이스라엘 집의 통치자들아, 공의를 혐오하고 모든 공평을 왜곡하는 자들아, 내가 너희에게 간구하노니, 이 말을 들으라.

9 Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity.

10 그들이 시온을 피로 건축하고, 예루살렘을 죄악으로 건축하는도다.

10 They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.

11 그곳의 수장들은 보상을 바라고 재판하고, 그곳의 제사장들은 품삯을 바라고 가르치며, 그곳의 예언자들은 돈을 바라고 점을 치는도다. 그럼에도 그들이 주를 의지하며 말하기를, “주께서 우리 가운데 계시지 아니하냐? 어떤 해악도 우리 위에 임할 수 없도다.” 하리라.

11 The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.

12 그러므로 시온이 너희로 인하여 밭같이 갈릴 것이요, 예루살렘이 무더기들이 될 것이며, 그 집의 산은 숲의 높은 처소들같이 되리라.

12 Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.
