골로새서 2장
1 이는 내가 너희를 위해, 또 라오디케아에 있는 그들과 육체로 나의 얼굴을 보지 못한 자들 모두를 위해 지니고 있는 심한 갈등이 무엇인지 너희가 알기를 내가 바라기 때문이라.
1 For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;
2 이는 사랑 안에서 서로 결속되어 전적인 이해의 확실함에서 나오는 모든 부요함에 도달하며, 하나님과 아버지와 그리스도의 신비를 인지하는 데 이르러 그들의 마음이 위로를 받게 하려 함이라.
2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
3 그분 안에는 지혜와 지식의 모든 보물들이 감추어져 있느니라.
3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
4 그리고 이것을 내가 말하노니, 어떤 사람도 유혹하는 말들로 너희를 기만하지 못하게 하려는 것이라.
4 And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.
5 이는 비록 내가 육체 안에서는 떨어져 있으나, 그럼에도 영 안에서는 내가 너희와 함께 있어 너희의 질서와 그리스도에 대한 너희 믿음의 확고함을 즐거워하며 바라보고 있기 때문이라.
5 For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
6 그러므로 너희가 주이신 그리스도 예수를 영접했던 것과 같이 너희가 그분 안에서 그렇게 살아가라.
6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
7 그분 안에서 뿌리를 내리고 강화되어, 믿음 안에서 확고하게 세워져, 너희가 가르침을 받아 온 대로 그 안에서 감사들을 넘치게 하라.
7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
8 어떤 사람도 철학과 헛된 속임수로 너희를 약탈하지 못하도록 경계하라. 그것들은 사람들의 전통을 따르는 것이요, 세상의 초보 원리들을 따르는 것이지, 그리스도를 따르는 것이 아니니라.
8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9 이는 그분 안에는 신격의 모든 충만함이 몸의 형체로 거하시기 때문이라.
9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10 그런즉 너희는 그분 안에서 온전하니, 그분께서는 모든 정사와 권능의 머리시라.
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
11 그분 안에서 또한 너희가 사람들의 손으로 이루어지지 않은 할례로 할례받았으니, 그리스도의 할례로 육신의 죄들의 몸을 벗게 되었느니라.
11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
12 너희가 침례 안에서 그분과 함께 장사되었으며, 또한 그 안에서 그분과 함께 살아났으니, 죽은 자들로부터 그분을 살리신 하나님의 시행에 대한 믿음을 통해서라.
12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
13 그리고 너희 죄들과 너희 육신의 무할례 가운데서 죽어 있던 너희를 그분께서 그분과 함께 되살아나게 하시어 모든 범법들에서 너희를 용서하셨느니라.
13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
14 우리를 대적하였고 우리를 반대하였던, 손으로 쓴 법령들을 지워 없애셨으니, 그 길에서 그것을 제거하시어 그분의 십자가에 그것을 못 박으셨느니라.
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 그리고 정사들과 권능들을 상하게 하셨으니, 그분께서 십자가 안에서 그들로부터 승리를 거두시어 그들을 공공연한 구경거리로 만드셨느니라.
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
16 그러므로 어떤 사람도 음식으로나 음료로나 거룩한 날에 관해서나 새 달이나 안식일들에 대하여 너희를 판단하지 못하게 하라.
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 그것들은 다가올 것들에 대한 하나의 그림자니라. 그러나 몸은 그리스도의 것이니라.
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
18 어떤 사람도 작위적인 겸손과 천사들을 숭배함으로 너희를 기만하여 너희의 보상을 빼앗지 못하게 하라. 그는 보지도 못한 그런 것들을 강요하면서 자신의 육신적인 생각으로 헛되이 우쭐해지느니라.
18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
19 그러면서 그는 머리를 붙들지 않으니, 온몸이 머리로부터 마디들과 힘줄들에 의해 영양분을 공급받으며 서로 결속되어 하나님께서 자라게 하심으로 자라느니라.
19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
20 이런 이유로 만일 세상의 초보 원리들로부터 너희가 그리스도와 함께 죽어 있다면 어찌하여 마치 세상 안에서 살고 있는 것처럼 너희가 법령들에 복종하느냐?
20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
21 (‘만지지 말라, 맛보지 말라, 손대지 말라’ 하는 것이라.
21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
22 이것들은 모두 사용하면서 없어질 것들이라.) 그러한 법령들은 사람들의 명령들과 교리들을 따른 것이라.
22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
23 정녕 이런 것들이 의지 숭배와 자기 비하와 신체를 경시하는 데는 지혜 있는 것처럼 보이나 육신을 만족시키는 데는 조금도 존중할 것이 없느니라.
23 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
