에스겔서 22장

1 이와 더불어 주의 말씀이 나에게 임하였으니, 이같이 말씀하셨느니라.

1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 “너, 사람의 아들아, 이제 네가 심판하려 하느냐? 너는 저 피비린내 나는 도시를 심판하려 하느냐? 진정 너는 그녀에게 그녀의 모든 가증함들을 제시하라.

2 Now, thou son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? yea, thou shalt shew her all her abominations.

3 그때 너는 말하라. 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 그곳의 한복판에서 그 도성이 피를 흘렸으니, 그녀의 때가 오게 하고 스스로를 더럽히려고 스스로를 대적하여 우상들을 만들려 함이라.

3 Then say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD, The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols against herself to defile herself.

4 너는 네가 흘린 너의 피에 있어서 유죄가 되었으니, 네가 만든 너의 우상들 안에서 너 자신을 더럽혔고 네가 너의 날들을 가까이 다가오게 하였도다. 그런즉 너의 연수에까지 다다랐도다. 그러므로 내가 너를 이교도들에게 치욕이 되게 하였고, 모든 나라들에게 조롱거리가 되게 하였노라.

4 Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a mocking to all countries.

5 가까이 있는 자들과 너에게서 멀리 있는 자들까지 너를 조롱하리니, 너는 악명이 높고 많은 핍박을 받은 자로다.

5 Those that be near, and those that be far from thee, shall mock thee, which art infamous and much vexed.

6 보라, 이스라엘의 통치자들 개개인이 모두 너의 안에 있어 피를 흘리게 하는 자신들의 권세로 향하였도다.

6 Behold, the princes of Israel, every one were in thee to their power to shed blood.

7 그들이 너의 안에서 아버지와 어머니를 경시하였더라. 너의 한복판에서 그들이 타국인들을 압제로 대하였도다. 너의 안에서 그들이 아버지 없는 자와 과부를 핍박하였도다.

7 In thee have they set light by father and mother: in the midst of thee have they dealt by oppression with the stranger: in thee have they vexed the fatherless and the widow.

8 네가 나의 거룩한 것들을 멸시하였고 나의 안식일들을 속되게 하였도다.

8 Thou hast despised mine holy things, and hast profaned my sabbaths.

9 너의 안에는 피를 흘리게 하려고 이야기들을 옮기는 자들이 있으니, 너의 안에서 그들이 산들 위에서 먹고, 너의 한복판에서 그들이 음란한 짓을 저지르는도다.

9 In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit lewdness.

10 너의 안에서 그들이 자신들의 아버지들의 벌거벗음을 드러냈도다. 너의 안에서 그들이, 오염으로 인하여 따로 세워진 그녀를 비천하게 하였도다.

10 In thee have they discovered their fathers' nakedness: in thee have they humbled her that was set apart for pollution.

11 그리고 누군가는 자기 이웃의 아내와 더불어 가증한 짓을 저질렀도다. 또 다른 이는 음란하게 자기 며느리를 더럽혔도다. 또 다른 자는 너의 안에서 자기 누이, 자기 아버지의 딸을 비천하게 하였도다.

11 And one hath committed abomination with his neighbour's wife; and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter in law; and another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father's daughter.

12 너의 안에서 그들이 피를 흘리게 하려고 예물들을 챙겼도다. 너는 이자와 증가액을 취했고, 너는 너의 이웃들에게서 착취로 탐욕스럽게 이득을 챙겼으며, 나를 잊었도다. 주 하나님이 말하노라.

12 In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD.

13 ¶ 보라, 그러므로 네가 일군 부정직한 이득과 너의 한복판에서 있던 너의 피에 대하여 내가 나의 손을 쳤도다.

13 ¶ Behold, therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee.

14 내가 너를 상대하는 날들에 너의 마음이 견딜 수 있겠으며 너의 손들이 강해질 수 있겠느냐? 나 주가 그것을 말하였으니, 그것을 행하겠노라.

14 Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it.

15 그러므로 내가 너를 이교도들 가운데로 흩겠고, 너를 나라들 가운데로 흩어지게 하겠으며 너에게서 너의 추악함을 소멸시키겠노라.

15 And I will scatter thee among the heathen, and disperse thee in the countries, and will consume thy filthiness out of thee.

16 그런 다음에 너는 이교도들의 면전에서 너 자신 안에 있는 너의 유산을 취하리라. 그리하면 너는 내가 주라는 것을 알게 되리라.”

16 And thou shalt take thine inheritance in thyself in the sight of the heathen, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.

17 그리고 주의 말씀이 나에게 임하였으니, 이같이 말씀하셨느니라.

17 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

18 “사람의 아들아, 이스라엘 집이 나에게 찌꺼기가 되었도다. 그들은 모두 용광로 한복판에 있는 놋과 주석과 철과 납이라. 그들은 바로 은 찌꺼기니라.

18 Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are even the dross of silver.

19 그러므로 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 이는 너희가 다 찌꺼기가 되었기 때문이라. 보라, 그러므로 내가 너희를 예루살렘 한복판으로 모으겠노라.

19 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye are all become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.

20 그들이 은과 놋과 철과 납과 주석을 용광로 한복판으로 모으나니, 그것 위에 불을 내뿜어 그것을 녹이고자 함이라. 그렇게 하여 내가 나의 분노와 나의 노여움 가운데서 너희를 모으겠으며, 내가 거기에서 너희를 남겨 두고 너희를 녹이겠노라.

20 As they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will leave you there, and melt you.

21 진정 내가 너희를 모아 너희 위에서 나의 진노의 불을 내뿜겠으니, 그리하면 너희가 그곳의 한복판에서 녹으리라.

21 Yea, I will gather you, and blow upon you in the fire of my wrath, and ye shall be melted in the midst thereof.

22 마치 은이 용광로 한가운데서 녹듯이 이처럼 너희가 그곳의 한가운데서 녹으리라. 그리하면 너희는 나, 주가 나의 노여움을 너희 위에 쏟아부었다는 것을 알게 되리라.”

22 As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst thereof; and ye shall know that I the LORD have poured out my fury upon you.

23 ¶ 이후에 주의 말씀이 나에게 임하였으니, 이같이 말씀하셨느니라.

23 ¶ And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

24 “사람의 아들아, 그녀에게 말하기를, ‘너는 정결하지 아니한 토지요, 격분의 날에 비가 그 위로 내리지 아니한 토지로다.’ 하라.

24 Son of man, say unto her, Thou art the land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation.

25 그곳 한복판에 그녀의 예언자들의 음모가 있으니, 포효하는 사자가 먹이를 탐욕스럽게 삼키는 것과 같도다. 그들이 혼들을 집어삼켰도다. 그들은 보물과 귀한 것들을 빼앗았도다. 그들이 그곳의 한복판에서 그녀에게 많은 과부들을 만들어 주었도다.

25 There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof.

26 그녀의 제사장들은 나의 율법을 위반하였고 나의 거룩한 것들을 속되게 하였도다. 그들은 거룩한 것과 속된 것 사이에 차이를 두지 아니하였고, 그들은 불결한 것과 정결한 것 사이의 차이를 제시하지도 아니하였으니, 나의 안식일들로부터 자신들의 눈을 피하였고 나는 그들 가운데 욕보임을 당하였도다.

26 Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

27 그곳 한복판에 있는 그녀의 통치자들은 먹이를 탐욕스럽게 삼키는 늑대들처럼 피를 흘리려 하고, 혼들을 멸망시키려 하며 부정직한 이득을 취하려고 하는도다.

27 Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.

28 그리고 그녀의 예언자들은 그들을 반죽되지 아니한 교니 반죽으로 발랐으니, 그들을 위해 헛된 것을 보고 거짓말들을 점치면서, 주가 말하지 아니하였음에도 말하기를, ‘주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라.’ 하였도다.

28 And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken.

29 그 지역의 백성은 압제를 사용하였고, 강탈을 훈련하였으며, 가난한 자와 빈곤한 자를 핍박하였도다. 진정 그들은 타국인을 부당하게 압제하였도다.

29 The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.

30 그리하여 내가 그들 가운데서 한 사람을 찾아보았으니, 그 지역을 위하여 내 앞에서 울타리를 세우고 틈새 안에 선 자요, 나로 하여금 그곳을 멸하지 못하게 할 사람이라. 그러나 나는 아무도 발견하지 못하였도다.

30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

31 그러므로 내가 나의 격분을 그들 위에 쏟아부었도다. 내가 나의 진노의 불로 그들을 소멸시켰도다. 내가 그들 자신의 길을 그들 머리 위에 갚았도다. 주 하나님이 말하노라.”

31 Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.
