마가복음 13장

1 그런 다음에 그분께서 성전 밖으로 나가셨을 때 그분의 제자들 중 하나가 그분께 말씀드리기를, “스승님, 여기에 어떤 부류의 돌들이 있으며 어떤 건물들이 있는지 보소서!” 하니라.

1 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!

2 그러자 예수님께서 그에게 대답하며 말씀하시기를, “너는 이 거대한 건물들을 보느냐? 돌 하나도 다른 돌 위에 남지 않고 무너져 내리리라.” 하셨느니라.

2 And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

3 이후에 그분께서 성전 맞은편인 올리브산 위에 앉아 계셨을 때 베드로와 야고보와 요한과 안드레가 그분께 은밀히 여쭈었더라.

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,

4 “우리에게 알려 주소서. 언제 이런 일들이 있겠나이까? 그리고 이 모든 일들이 성취될 때는 무슨 표적이 있겠나이까?”

4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

5 그러자 예수님께서 그들에게 대답하며 말씀하기 시작하셨더라. “어떤 사람도 너희를 속이지 않도록 주의하라.

5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:

6 이는 많은 이들이 내 이름으로 올 것이요, ‘내가 그리스도라.’ 하고 말하며 많은 이들을 속일 것이기 때문이라.

6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

7 그리고 너희가 전쟁들과 전쟁들의 소문들에 관하여 들을 때면 너희는 불안해하지 말라. 이는 이러한 일들이 반드시 있어야 할 필요가 있기 때문이라. 그러나 아직 끝이 아니리라.

7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

8 이는 민족이 민족을 대적하여 일어날 것이요, 왕국이 왕국을 대적하여 일어날 것이기 때문이라. 그리고 여러 장소들에 지진들이 있을 것이요, 기근들과 재난들이 있을 것이라. 이것들이 비탄스러운 일들의 시작들이라.

8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

9 ¶ 그러나 너희는 스스로 주의하라. 이는 그들이 너희를 공회들에 넘겨줄 것이요, 너희가 회당들 안에서 두들겨 맞을 것이며, 그들을 대적하는 간증으로 너희가 나로 인하여 치리자들과 왕들 앞에 끌려갈 것이기 때문이라.

9 ¶ But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

10 그리하여 모든 민족들 가운데서 복음이 먼저 공표되어야만 하느니라.

10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

11 그러나 그들이 너희를 인도하고 너희를 넘겨줄 때면 너희가 말할 것을 미리부터 전혀 걱정하지 말며 너희는 미리 생각해 놓지도 말라. 오히려 그 시각에 너희에게 무엇이 주어지든지 너희는 그것을 말하라. 이는 말하는 자는 너희가 아닌 성령이시기 때문이라.

11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

12 이때 형제가 형제를, 아버지가 아들을 배반하여 죽음에 넘기리라. 또 자식들이 자기 부모를 대적하여 일어날 것이요, 그들로 하여금 사형에 처하게 하리라.

12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

13 그리고 너희는 내 이름으로 인하여 모든 사람들에게 증오를 받으리라. 그러나 끝까지 견딜 자, 바로 그는 구원을 받으리라.

13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14 ¶ 그러나 너희는 예언자 다니엘에 의하여 언급된 황량하게 하는 그 가증한 것이 서지 말아야 할 곳에 서 있는 것을 볼 때 (읽는 자는 이해할지어다.) 그때 유대에 있는 자들은 산들로 도망할지어다.

14 ¶ But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

15 그리고 옥상 위에 있는 자는 집 안으로 내려가지 말며 자기 집에서 어떤 것을 가지고 나오려고 그 안으로 들어가지도 말라.

15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:

16 또 들에 있는 자는 자기 의복을 가져오기 위해 다시 돌아가지 말라.

16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.

17 다만 그날들에는 아이 밴 자들과 젖 먹이는 자들에게 화가 있으리라!

17 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

18 또 너희는 너희의 도피가 겨울에 있지 않도록 기도하라.

18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.

19 이는 그날들에 고난이 있을 것이기 때문이니, 하나님께서 창조하신 창조의 시작부터 이때까지 이와 같은 일은 없었으며, 또한 없으리라.

19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

20 그런즉 주께서 그날들을 단축시키지 아니하셨다면 어떤 육체도 구원받지 못할 것이라. 그러나 그분께서 친히 선택하신 택함받은 자들을 위하여 그날들을 단축하셨느니라.

20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

21 그리고 그때 만일 어떤 사람이 너희에게 말하기를, ‘보라, 그리스도가 여기 있다.’ 또는 ‘보라, 그가 저기에 있다.’ 한다 해도 그를 믿지 말라.

21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:

22 이는 거짓 그리스도들과 거짓 예언자들이 일어날 것이요, 표적들과 이적들을 보일 것이기 때문이니, 만일 가능하다면 심지어 택함받은 자들까지도 미혹하려는 것이라.

22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

23 그러나 너희는 주의하라. 보라, 내가 모든 것들을 너희에게 미리 말하였느니라.

23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

24 ¶ 그러나 그날들에는 그 환란 후에 해가 어두워질 것이요, 달이 그녀의 빛을 내지 않을 것이요,

24 ¶ But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

25 하늘의 별들이 떨어질 것이요, 하늘에 있는 권능들이 흔들릴 것이라.

25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

26 그리고 그때 그들은 인자가 대단한 권능과 영광과 함께 구름들 가운데 오는 것을 보리라.

26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

27 그리고 그때 그가 자신의 천사들을 보낼 것이요, 자신의 택함받은 자들을 네 바람의 방향에서 한데 모을 것이니, 땅의 맨 끝부분에서 하늘의 맨 끝부분까지라.

27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

28 이제 그 무화과나무의 비유를 배우라. 그녀의 가지가 아직 연하고 잎사귀들을 내밀 때면 여름이 가까운 것을 너희가 아느니라.

28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:

29 그러한 이유로 너희가 이것들이 이와 같은 방식으로 일어나는 것을 볼 때면 그것이 가까이, 곧 문들 앞에 있음을 너희가 아느니라.

29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.

30 진실로 내가 너희에게 말하노니, 이 모든 것들이 이루어지기 전에는 이 세대가 지나가지 아니하리라.

30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

31 하늘과 땅은 없어질 것이나, 나의 말들은 없어지지 아니하리라.

31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

32 ¶ 그러나 그날과 그 시각에 대하여 아는 사람은 아무도 없나니, 없도다. 하늘에 있는 천사들도 모르고 아들도 모르며 아버지만 아시느니라.

32 ¶ But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

33 너희는 주의하고 깨어서 기도하라. 이는 그때가 언제인지 너희가 모르기 때문이라.

33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

34 이는 인자가 마치 먼 여행을 떠나는 남자 같기 때문이니, 그는 자기 집을 남겨 두고 자신의 종들에게 권위를 주었는데 모든 사람에게 저마다 그의 일을 맡기고 문지기에게 깨어 있으라고 명령하였느니라.

34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

35 그러므로 너희는 깨어 있으라. 이는 그 집의 주인이 언제 오는지, 저녁때인지 혹은 한밤중인지 혹은 수탉이 울 때인지 혹은 아침인지 너희가 모르기 때문이라.

35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:

36 그가 갑자기 와서 너희가 자고 있는 것을 발견하지 못하게 하라.

36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.

37 그런즉 내가 너희에게 말하는 것은 내가 모두에게 말하는 것이니, ‘깨어 있으라.’”

37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
