레위기 12장

1 그리고 주께서 모세에게 이같이 일러 말씀하셨느니라.

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2 “이스라엘 자녀들에게 이같이 일러 말하라. ‘만일 어떤 여자가 씨를 잉태하여 남자아이를 낳았다면, 그때 그녀는 칠 일 동안 불결하리라. 그녀의 연약함으로 인한 분리의 날들에 따라 그녀가 불결하리라.

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.

3 그런 다음에 여덟째 날에 그의 포피 살이 할례를 받아야 하느니라.

3 And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.

4 그리고 그때 그녀는 자신의 정화에 관한 피 가운데 삼십삼 일 동안 계속 있을지니라. 그녀는 자신을 정화하는 날들이 찰 때까지 거룩하게 된 것을 손대지 말며, 성소 안으로 들어오지도 말지니라.

4 And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.

5 그러나 만일 그녀가 여자아이를 낳으면 그때 그녀는 그녀의 분리 때와 같이 이 주 동안 불결하리라. 그리고 그녀는 육십육 일 동안 자신을 정결하게 하는 핏속에 계속 있을지니라.

5 But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.

6 그런 다음에 그녀를 정화하는 날들이 찼을 때 아들을 위해서나 딸을 위해서나 그녀는 일 년 된 어린양 한 마리를 번제물로서 취하고, 새끼 집비둘기 한 마리나 산비둘기 한 마리를 죄 제물로 취하여 회중의 성막 문으로, 곧 제사장에게로 가져올지니라.

6 And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest:

7 그 제사장은 그것을 주 앞에 바치고 그녀를 위한 속죄를 이행할지니라. 그리하면 그녀는 그녀의 피의 유출로부터 정결해지리라. 이것은 남아나 여아를 낳은 여인을 위한 법이라.

7 Who shall offer it before the LORD, and make an atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood. This is the law for her that hath born a male or a female.

8 그런데 만일 그녀가 어린양 한 마리를 가져올 수 없다면, 그때 그녀는 산비둘기 두 마리나 새끼 집비둘기 두 마리를 가져올지니라. 한 마리는 번제물로 삼고 다른 한 마리는 죄 제물로 삼을지니라. 그런 다음에 제사장은 그녀를 위한 속죄를 이행할지니, 그리하면 그녀가 정결하게 되리라.’”

8 And if she be not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for her, and she shall be clean.
