이사야서 32장

1 보라, 한 왕이 의로 통치할 것이요, 통치자들이 공의로 다스리리라.

1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.

2 그리고 한 사람이 바람을 피하는 은신처와 광풍을 피하는 도피처같이 될 것이요, 메마른 곳에서 물이 흐르는 강들같이, 지치게 하는 지역에 있는 거대한 바위의 그늘같이 되리라.

2 And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.

3 그리고 보는 자들의 눈이 흐릿하지 아니할 것이요, 듣는 자들의 귀가 경청하리라.

3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.

4 경솔한 자들의 마음도 지식을 이해할 것이요, 말을 더듬는 자들의 혀는 분명하게 말할 준비가 되리라.

4 The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.

5 비열한 인물이 더 이상 관대한 자로 불리지 아니할 것이요, 인색한 자도 후한 자라고 일컬어지지 아니하리라.

5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful.

6 이는 비열한 인물이 간악함을 말할 것이요, 그의 마음이 죄악을 행할 것이며, 위선을 행하고, 주를 대적하여 오류를 발설하며, 배고픈 자의 혼을 텅 비게 하고, 그가 목마른 자의 마실 것을 없어지게 할 것이기 때문이라.

6 For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.

7 인색한 자의 도구들 또한 악하도다. 그는 빈곤한 자가 옳은 말을 할 때조차 거짓말들로 가난한 자들을 멸망시키려고 사악한 계책들을 고안하느니라.

7 The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.

8 그러나 관대한 자는 관대한 것들을 고안하나니, 관대한 것들에 의하여 그가 서리라.

8 But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.

9 ¶ 너희, 안일한 여자들아, 일어나라. 나의 음성을 들으라, 너희, 태평한 딸들아. 내가 하는 말을 귀담아들으라.

9 ¶ Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech.

10 너희, 태평한 여자들아, 많은 날들과 해들 동안 너희가 근심하리라. 이는 포도 수확이 끊기고 거두어들이는 일이 오지 않을 것이기 때문이라.

10 Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come.

11 너희, 안일한 여자들아, 떨라. 너희, 태평한 이들아, 근심하라. 너희의 옷을 벗고, 너희의 맨살을 드러내며, 굵은 베를 너희의 허리에 두르라.

11 Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins.

12 그들이 젖꼭지들로 인하여, 기쁨을 주는 밭들로 인하여, 열매로 가득한 포도나무로 인하여 애통해하리라.

12 They shall lament for the teats, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.

13 내 백성의 토지 위에 가시나무들과 찔레들이 올라오리라. 진정, 즐거움을 주는 도시 안에서 즐거움의 모든 집들 위에 그리하리라.

13 Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city:

14 이는 궁전들이 버려질 것이기 때문이라. 도시의 무리가 남겨지리라. 보루들과 망대들이 영원토록 토굴들이 될 것이요, 야생 나귀들의 즐거움이요, 양 떼들의 초원이 되리라.

14 Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;

15 높은 곳으로부터 우리에게 영이 부어져서 광야가 열매로 가득한 밭이 되고, 그 열매로 가득한 밭이 숲으로 여겨질 때까지 그러하리라.

15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.

16 그때 공의가 광야 가운데 거하고, 의가 열매로 가득한 밭에 남아 있으리라.

16 Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.

17 그리하여 의의 행위는 화평이 되리라. 또 의의 영향은 영원토록 평온함과 확실함이 되리라.

17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

18 그리하여 나의 백성이 평화로운 거처와 견고한 주거지들과 조용한 안식처들 안에서 거하리라.

18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;

19 우박이 그 숲 위에 쏟아져 내릴 때, 그 도시가 낮은 곳에서 낮아지리라.

19 When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.

20 모든 물들 옆에 씨를 심고, 소와 나귀의 발을 그곳으로 보내는 자들인 너희는 복되도다.

20 Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass.
