이사야서 56장

1 주가 이같이 말하노라. 너희는 공의를 지키고 정의를 행하라. 이는 나의 구원이 가까이 오며, 나의 의가 드러나게 될 것이기 때문이라.

1 Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

2 이것을 행하는 사람은 복되며 그것을 붙잡는 사람의 아들은 복되나니, 곧 안식일을 지켜 그것을 더럽히지 아니하고 자기 손을 지켜 어떤 악도 행하지 아니하는 이는 복되도다.

2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

3 ¶ 또한 스스로 주께 연합한 타국인의 자손이 일러 말하기를, “주께서 나를 그분의 백성으로부터 아주 분리시키셨도다.” 하게 하지 말라. 또한 고자가 말하기를, “보라, 나는 마른 나무로다.” 하게 하지도 말라.

3 ¶ Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.

4 이는 나의 안식일들을 지키고 나를 기쁘게 하는 것들을 선택하며 나의 언약을 붙드는 고자들에게 주가 이같이 말하기 때문이라.

4 For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;

5 바로 그들에게 나는 나의 집 안에서와 나의 성벽들 안쪽에서 아들들과 딸들의 것보다 더 나은 처소와 이름을 주겠노라. 내가 그들에게 끊어지지 아니할 영원한 이름을 주겠노라.

5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

6 또한 스스로 주께 연합하여 그를 섬기고, 주의 이름을 사랑하며 그의 종들이 되려 하는 타국인의 자손들, 곧 안식일을 지켜서 그것을 더럽히지 아니하고 나의 언약을 붙드는 모든 개개인,

6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

7 바로 그들을 나는 나의 거룩한 산으로 데려가서 그들이 나의 기도의 집에서 즐거움으로 충만하게 만들겠노라. 그들의 번제물들과 그들의 희생 제물들이 나의 제단 위에 기꺼이 받아들여지리라. 이는 나의 집이 모든 백성을 위한 기도의 집으로 불릴 것이기 때문이라.

7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

8 이스라엘의 추방자들을 모으는 주 하나님이 말하노라. 나는 그에게 모여 있는 자들 외에 여전히 다른 자들을 그에게 모으겠노라.

8 The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

9 ¶ 너희, 모든 들짐승들아, 숲 속에 있는 너희, 모든 짐승들아, 진정 와서 집어삼키라.

9 ¶ All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest.

10 그의 파수꾼들은 눈먼 자들이라. 그들은 모두 무지하고, 그들은 전부 말 못 하는 개들이니, 그들은 짖을 수도 없으면서 잠이나 자고 드러눕고 졸음을 사랑하느니라.

10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.

11 진정 그들은 결코 만족할 수 없는 욕심 많은 개들이며, 그들은 이해하지 못하는 목자들이라. 그들은 모두 그들 자신의 길을 살피나니, 모두가 저마다 자기 구간에서 자신의 이득을 위하여 살피는도다.

11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.

12 그들은 말하기를, “너희는 오라. 내가 포도주를 가져오리니, 우리는 우리 몸을 독주로 채우리라. 그리고 내일도 이날과 같으리니, 더욱더 넘치리라.” 하는도다.

12 Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.
