이사야서 39:1

1 그 당시에 발라단의 아들인 바빌론 왕 므로닥발라단이 편지들과 증여물을 히스키야에게 보냈더라. 이는 히스키야가 병들었다가 회복하였다는 것을 그가 들었기 때문이라.

1 At that time Merodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard that he had been sick, and was recovered.

이사야서 39:2

2 이에 히스키야가 그들을 반기며 자신의 귀한 것들과 은과 금과 향료들과 귀한 향유의 집과, 그의 병기고 전체와, 그의 보물 창고들 안에서 발견된 모든 것을 그들에게 보여 주었더라. 그의 집 안이나 그의 통치하에 있는 모든 것 가운데 히스키야가 그들에게 보여 주지 않은 것은 아무것도 없었더라.

2 And Hezekiah was glad of them, and shewed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.

이사야서 39:3

3 ¶ 그때 예언자 이사야가 히스키야왕에게 와서 그에게 말하기를, “이 사람들이 무슨 말을 하였나이까? 또 그들이 어디에서 당신께 왔나이까?” 하였더라. 그러자 히스키야가 말하기를, “그들은 먼 나라에서, 곧 바빌론에서 저에게로 왔나이다.” 하였더라.

3 ¶ Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country unto me, even from Babylon.

이사야서 39:4

4 그때 그가 말하기를, “그들이 당신의 집 안에서 무엇을 보았나이까?” 하였더라. 그러자 히스키야가 대답하기를, “저의 집 안에 있는 모든 것을 그들이 보았나이다. 저의 보물들 가운데 제가 그들에게 보여 주지 아니한 것은 아무것도 없나이다.” 하였더라.

4 Then said he, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All that is in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.

이사야서 39:5

5 그러자 이사야가 히스키야에게 이같이 말하였더라. “만군의 주의 말씀을 들으소서.

5 Then said Isaiah to Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD of hosts:

이사야서 39:6

6 ‘보라, 그날들이 오나니, 너의 집 안에 있는 모든 것과, 너의 조상들이 이날까지 저장하여 쌓아 올린 모든 것이 바빌론으로 옮겨지고, 아무것도 남겨지지 아니하리라. 주가 말하노라.

6 Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.

이사야서 39:7

7 그리고 너에게서 생겨날, 네가 낳을 너의 아들들 중 일부를 그들이 잡아 가리라. 그리하여 그들은 바빌론 왕의 궁전 안에서 내시들이 되리라.’”

7 And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.

이사야서 39:8

8 그때 히스키야가 이사야에게 말하기를, “당신께서 전하신 주의 말씀이 선하시나이다.” 하였더라. 그가 덧붙여 말하기를, “이는 저의 날들에는 화평과 진리가 있을 것이기 때문이니이다.” 하였더라.

8 Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my days.
