1 유다 왕들인 요담과 아하즈와 히스키야의 날들에 모라셋족 미가에게 임한 주의 말씀이니, 그가 사마리아와 예루살렘에 관하여 본 말씀이라.
1 The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
2 너희, 모든 백성아, 들으라. 오, 땅과 그 안에 있는 모든 것들아, 경청하라. 그리하여 주 하나님, 곧 그의 거룩한 전에서 나오는 주가 너희를 거슬러 증인이 되시게 하라.
2 Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.
3 이는 보라, 주가 그의 처소로부터 나아오기 때문이요, 또 내려와서 땅의 높은 처소들을 짓밟을 것이기 때문이라.
3 For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.
4 그리하여 산들은 그분 아래에서 녹아내릴 것이요, 골짜기들은 갈라진 틈이 될 것이요, 불 앞에 밀초같이, 가파른 곳에서 쏟아지는 물들같이 되리라.
4 And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.
5 이 모든 것이 야곱의 불법으로 인한 것이요, 이스라엘 집의 죄들로 인한 것이라. 야곱의 불법이 무엇이냐? 그것이 사마리아가 아니냐? 그리고 유다의 높은 처소들이 무엇이냐? 그것들은 예루살렘이 아니냐?
5 For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?
6 그러므로 내가 사마리아를 들판의 무더기같이, 포도원을 세우는 자리들같이 만들겠노라. 그리고 내가 그곳의 돌들을 골짜기 안으로 쏟아붓겠으니, 내가 그곳의 기초들을 드러내겠노라.
6 Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.
7 그리고 그곳의 새겨진 형상들은 모두 두들겨 맞아서 산산조각 날 것이요, 그곳의 모든 품값들이 불로 태워지리라. 그곳의 모든 우상들을 내가 황량하게 하겠노라. 이는 그녀가 창녀의 품값으로 그것을 모았으며 그것들이 창녀의 품값으로 되돌아갈 것이기 때문이라.
7 And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.
8 그러므로 나는 통곡하고 울부짖을 것이라. 내가 옷이 벗겨진 채 맨몸으로 가겠노라. 나는 용들처럼 곡소리를 하고 올빼미들같이 애곡하겠노라.
8 Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.
9 이는 그녀의 상처가 치료될 수 없기 때문이요, 그것이 유다까지 이르렀기 때문이라. 그가 나의 백성의 성문까지 이르렀으니, 곧 예루살렘까지 이르렀도다.
9 For her wound is incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
10 ¶ 너희는 그것을 가드에서 선언하지 말라. 너희는 결코 울지 말라. 아프라의 집에서 너의 몸을 티끌 속에 굴리라.
10 ¶ Declare ye it not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust.
11 너희는 사라져 버리라, 너, 사필의 거주자야, 너의 수치가 발가벗겨진 채 사라져 버리라. 자아난의 거주자는 벧에젤이 애곡하는 와중에 나아오지 않았도다. 그가 너희에게서 자신이 설 곳을 받으리라.
11 Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing.
12 이는 마롯의 거주자들이 유의 깊게 축복을 기다렸기 때문이라. 그러나 해악이 주께로부터 내려와서 예루살렘 성문에 도달하였도다.
12 For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.
13 오, 너, 라키시의 거주자야, 빠른 짐승에게 병거를 매라. 그녀는 시온의 딸에게 죄의 시초로다. 이는 이스라엘의 불법들이 네 가운데서 발견되었기 때문이라.
13 O thou inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she is the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.
14 그러므로 너는 모레솃갓에게 증여물들을 줄지니라. 악집의 집들이 이스라엘 왕들에게 거짓말이 되리라.
14 Therefore shalt thou give presents to Moreshethgath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.
15 오, 마레샤의 거주자야, 그럼에도 내가 너에게 한 상속자를 데려오겠노라. 그는 이스라엘의 영광인 아둘람으로 오리라.
15 Yet will I bring an heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel.
16 너를 대머리로 만들고, 너의 여린 자녀들을 위하여 너의 머리를 짧게 깎으라. 너의 벗겨진 머리를 독수리처럼 넓히라. 이는 그들이 너로부터 포로로 끌려갔기 때문이라.
16 Make thee bald, and poll thee for thy delicate children; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee.
