1 죄악을 고안하며 그들의 침상들 위에 해악을 조장하는 자들에게 화가 있기를 바라노라! 아침 햇빛이 들 때 그들이 그것을 실행으로 옮기나니, 그것이 그들의 손의 권세 안에 있기 때문이라.
1 Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.
2 그리고 그들은 밭들을 탐내고 그것들을 폭력으로 빼앗으며, 집들을 탐내며 그것들을 빼앗는도다. 그렇게 하여 그들이 사람과 그의 집을 압제하나니, 곧 사람과 그의 상속 재산을 그리하는도다.
2 And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.
3 그러므로 주가 이같이 말하노라. 보라, 내가 이 족속을 대적하여 한 해악을 고안하나니, 너희가 그것에서 너희의 목을 움직여 빼지 못할 해악이라. 또한 너희는 거만하게 가지도 못하리라. 이는 이때가 악하기 때문이라.
3 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil.
4 ¶ 그날에 누군가 너희를 대적하여 비유를 지으리니, 구슬픈 애가로 애도하며 말하기를, “우리가 모조리 약탈당하는도다. 그분께서 나의 백성의 몫을 변경하셨도다. 어떻게 그분께서 그것을 나에게서 옮기셨는가! 그분께서 돌아서시어 우리의 밭들을 나누셨도다.” 하리라.
4 ¶ In that day shall one take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, and say, We be utterly spoiled: he hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he removed it from me! turning away he hath divided our fields.
5 그러므로 너는 주의 회중 가운데 제비를 통하여 끈을 던져 줄 자를 아무도 얻지 못하리라.
5 Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast a cord by lot in the congregation of the LORD.
6 그들이 예언하는 자들에게 말하기를, “너희는 예언하지 말라.” 하는도다. 예언하는 자들은 그들에게 예언하지 아니하리니, 예언하는 자들이 수치를 당하지 아니하려 함이라.
6 Prophesy ye not, say they to them that prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them, that they shall not take shame.
7 ¶ 오, 너, 야곱의 집이란 이름으로 불리는 자야, 주의 영이 제약받겠느냐? 이 일들이 그가 행한 것들이냐? 나의 말들이 올바르게 살아가는 자에게 선을 행하지 않느냐?
7 ¶ O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?
8 심지어 최근 들어 나의 백성이 원수처럼 일어났도다. 너희는 마치 전쟁을 싫어하는 사람들같이 안심하고 지나가고 있는 자들에게서 예복을 잡아당겨 의복과 더불어 벗기는도다.
8 Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men averse from war.
9 너희가 나의 백성의 여인들을 그들의 기쁨을 주는 집들에서 쫓아냈도다. 너희가 그들의 자녀들에게서 나의 영광을 영원토록 빼앗아 버렸도다.
9 The women of my people have ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their children have ye taken away my glory for ever.
10 너희는 일어나서 떠나라. 이는 이것이 너희의 안식이 아니기 때문이라. 그곳이 오염되는 까닭에 그것이 너희를 멸망시키리니, 심지어 심한 멸망으로 멸망시키리라.
10 Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction.
11 만일 영과 거짓 가운데 살아가는 어떤 사람이 거짓말을 하며 말하기를, “내가 포도주와 독주에 관하여 너에게 예언하겠노라.” 한다면 그조차도 이 백성의 예언자가 되리라.
11 If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.
12 ¶ 오, 야곱아, 내가 반드시 너의 모든 자들을 결집시키겠노라. 내가 반드시 이스라엘의 남은 자들을 모으겠노라. 내가 보즈라의 양들같이, 그들의 우리 한가운데 있는 양 떼같이 그들을 함께 두겠노라. 그들은 사람들의 허다함으로 인하여 크나큰 소음을 내리라.
12 ¶ I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men.
13 부수는 자가 그들 앞으로 올라왔도다. 그들이 부수어 버렸고 성문을 통과하였으며 그것의 옆으로 나갔도다. 그리하여 그들의 왕이 그들 앞을 지나가리니 주가 그들의 선두에 있으리라.
13 The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them.
