1 이후에 그분께서 모세에게 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “너와 아론과 나답과 아비후와 이스라엘의 장로들 칠십 명은 주께로 올라오라. 그리고 너희는 멀리 떨어져서 경배하라.
1 And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off.
2 그런 다음에 모세만 홀로 주께 가까이 나아올지니라. 그러나 그들은 가까이 나아오지 말며, 백성도 그와 함께 올라오지 말지니라.”
2 And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him.
3 ¶ 그러자 모세가 와서 주의 모든 말씀들과 모든 공의로운 법규들을 백성에게 알렸더라. 그러자 모든 백성이 한 목소리로 대답하고 말하기를, “주께서 하신 모든 말씀들을 저희가 실행하겠나이다.” 하였더라.
3 ¶ And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.
4 그런 다음에 모세는 주의 모든 말씀들을 기록하였으며 아침 일찍 일어나 언덕 아래에 제단 하나를 쌓고 이스라엘의 열두 지파대로 열두 기둥들을 세웠더라.
4 And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
5 그리고 그는 이스라엘 자녀들의 청년들을 보냈더라. 그들은 주께 번제물들을 바쳤고 소들의 화평 제물들로 희생 제물을 바쳤더라.
5 And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.
6 그러고 나서 모세가 피의 절반을 취하여 그것을 대야들에 담았더라. 그런 다음에 그가 피의 절반을 제단 위에 뿌렸더라.
6 And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
7 그런 다음에 그가 언약의 책을 가져와서 백성이 청취하는 데서 읽었더라. 그러자 그들이 말하기를, “주께서 말씀하신 모든 것을 저희가 실행하고 순종하겠나이다.” 하였더라.
7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.
8 그러자 모세가 피를 취하여 그것을 백성에게 뿌리고 말하기를, “주께서 이 모든 말씀들에 관하여 너희와 맺은 언약의 피를 보라.” 하였더라.
8 And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.
9 ¶ 그때 모세와 아론, 나답과 아비후와 이스라엘의 장로들 칠십 명이 올라갔더라.
9 ¶ Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:
10 그러고 나서 그들이 이스라엘의 하나님을 목격하였으니, 그분의 두 발 아래는 마치 사파이어 보석으로 포장된 것 같았고, 그의 청명함 가운데 있는 하늘의 본체 같았더라.
10 And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
11 그리고 그분께서 이스라엘 자녀들의 귀족들에게 그분의 손을 대지 아니하셨으니, 그들도 하나님을 목격하였고 먹고 마셨더라.
11 And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.
12 ¶ 그러고 나서 주께서 모세에게 말씀하시기를, “너는 산속에 있는 나에게로 올라와서 거기에 있으라. 그리하면 내가 돌판들과 율법과 내가 기록한 명령들을 너에게 주겠으니, 네가 그들을 가르치게 하려 함이라.” 하셨느니라.
12 ¶ And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
13 그리하여 모세는 자신을 섬기는 자인 여호수아와 함께 일어났더라. 그러고 나서 모세는 하나님의 산속으로 올라갔더라.
13 And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua: and Moses went up into the mount of God.
14 그러면서 그가 장로들에게 말하기를, “우리가 너희에게 다시 올 때까지 너희는 우리를 위하여 여기에 머물라. 그런즉 보라, 아론과 훌이 너희와 함께하노라. 만일 누구든 처리해야 할 어떤 사안들이 있다면 그로 하여금 그들에게로 나아가게 하라.” 하였더라.
14 And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.
15 그리하여 모세가 그 산속으로 올라갔는데 구름이 그 산을 덮었더라.
15 And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.
16 그리하여 주의 영광이 시나이산 위에 거하였으며 그 구름이 육 일 동안 그것을 덮었더라. 그리고 일곱째 날에 그분께서는 구름 한가운데서 모세를 부르셨더라.
16 And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
17 그러자 이스라엘 자녀들의 눈에는 주의 영광의 광경이 그 산꼭대기 위에서 집어삼키는 불 같았더라.
17 And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.
18 그리고 모세는 구름 한가운데로 들어가 그 스스로 산속으로 올라갔더라. 그리하여 모세가 산속에서 사십 일 낮과 사십 일 밤을 있었더라.
18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.
