1 그리고 주께서 모세에게 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “아론의 아들들인 제사장들에게 일러 그들에게 이같이 말하라. ‘자기 백성 사이에서 죽은 자로 인하여 더럽혀지는 자가 아무도 없게 할지니라.
1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people:
2 그러나 그에게 가까운 친척을 위한 것과 그의 어머니를 위한 것과 그의 아버지를 위한 것과 그의 아들을 위한 것과 그의 딸을 위한 것과 그의 형제를 위한 것과
2 But for his kin, that is near unto him, that is, for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother,
3 처녀인데 남편이 없으며 그에게 가까운 그의 누이를 위한 것은 가능하나니, 그녀를 위해서는 그가 더럽혀질 수 있느니라.
3 And for his sister a virgin, that is nigh unto him, which hath had no husband; for her may he be defiled.
4 그러나 그는 자기 백성 사이에서 우두머리인 남자이므로 스스로를 더럽혀서 자신을 속되게 하지 말지니라.
4 But he shall not defile himself, being a chief man among his people, to profane himself.
5 그들은 자신들의 머리를 대머리로 만들지 말며, 그들은 자신들의 수염의 가장자리를 깎지도 말고, 자신들의 살에다 어떠한 베어 낸 상처들도 만들지 말지니라.
5 They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
6 그들은 자신들의 하나님께 거룩할지니, 자신들의 하나님의 이름을 욕되게 하지 말지니라. 이는 그들이 불로써 드려지는 주의 제물들과 자신들의 하나님께 속한 빵을 바치기 때문이라. 그러므로 그들은 거룩할지니라.
6 They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.
7 그들은 음녀나 속된 여자를 한 아내로 취하지 말지니라. 또한 그들은 그녀의 남편에게서 버려진 여자도 취하지 말지니라. 이는 그가 그의 하나님께 거룩하기 때문이라.
7 They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.
8 그러므로 너는 그를 성결하게 구별할지니라. 이는 그가 너의 하나님의 빵을 바치기 때문이라. 그는 너에게 거룩할지니라. 이는 너희를 성결하게 구별하는 나 주가 거룩하기 때문이라.
8 Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be holy unto thee: for I the LORD, which sanctify you, am holy.
9 ¶ 그리고 만일 어떤 제사장의 딸인 그녀가 매춘부 짓을 하여 자신을 속되게 한다면, 그녀는 자기 아버지를 속되게 하느니라. 그녀는 불로 태워져야 하느니라.
9 ¶ And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.
10 그리고 그의 형제들 사이에서 대제사장인 자요, 기름 부음에 사용하는 기름이 자기 머리 위에 부어진 자요, 의복들을 입도록 성별된 자는 자기 머리를 드러내지 말며 자기 옷을 찢지도 말지니라.
10 And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;
11 또한 그는 어떠한 시신에도 들어가지 말며, 자기 아버지를 위해서나 자기 어머니를 위해서도 스스로를 더럽히지 말지니라.
11 Neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother;
12 또한 그는 성소에서 나가지 말며, 그의 하나님의 성소를 속되게 하지도 말지니라. 이는 그의 하나님께 속한 기름 부음에 사용하는 기름의 왕관이 그의 위에 있기 때문이라. 나는 주로다.
12 Neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.
13 그런즉 그는 자신의 처녀성을 지닌 아내를 취할지니라.
13 And he shall take a wife in her virginity.
14 그는 이들, 곧 과부나 이혼당한 여자나 속된 여자나 창녀를 취하지 말지니라. 그러나 그는 자기 자신의 백성 중에서 처녀를 아내로 취할지니라.
14 A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.
15 또한 그는 그의 백성 사이에서 그의 씨를 속되게 하지도 말지니라. 이는 나 주가 그를 성결하게 구별하기 때문이라.’”
15 Neither shall he profane his seed among his people: for I the LORD do sanctify him.
16 ¶ 그리고 주께서 모세에게 이같이 일러 말씀하셨느니라.
16 ¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
17 “아론에게 이같이 일러 말하라. ‘너의 씨 중에서 그들의 세대들 가운데 누구든지 어떤 흠이 있는 자는, 그로 하여금 자기 하나님의 빵을 바치도록 접근하지 못하게 하라.
17 Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.
18 이는 어느 남자든지 흠이 있는 자, 그는 접근하지 말아야 하기 때문이라. 곧, 눈먼 남자나, 절뚝거리는 자나, 납작코를 가진 자나, 무엇이 더 달린 자나,
18 For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,
19 발이 부러지거나 손이 부러진 남자나,
19 Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,
20 등이 굽게 된 자나, 난쟁이나, 그의 눈에 흠이 있는 자나, 괴혈병에 걸린 자나, 딱지가 있게 된 자나, 그의 고환들이 상한 자라.
20 Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;
21 제사장 아론의 씨 중에서 흠이 있는 자는 아무도 불로써 드려지는 주의 제물들을 바치려고 가까이 오지 말지니라. 그에게는 흠이 있느니라. 그는 자기 하나님의 빵을 바치려고 가까이 오지 말지니라.
21 No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
22 그는 그의 하나님의 빵을 먹을지니, 지극히 거룩한 것에 속한 빵과 거룩한 것에 속한 빵을 모두 먹을지니라.
22 He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.
23 오로지 그는 휘장 안으로 들어가지 못할 것이요, 제단으로도 가까이 오지 못하리라. 이는 그에게 흠이 있는 까닭이니, 그로 하여금 나의 성소들을 속되게 하지 않게 하려 함이라. 이는 나 주가 그것들을 성결하게 구별하기 때문이라.’”
23 Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them.
24 그리하여 모세가 아론에게와 그의 아들들에게와 모든 이스라엘 자녀들에게 그것을 알렸더라.
24 And Moses told it unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel.
