1 그리고 내가 천사가 하늘에서 내려오는 것을 보았는데, 그가 끝없는 구렁의 열쇠와 거대한 사슬을 그의 손에 가지고 있더라.
1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 그리하여 그가 그 용, 곧 마귀요, 사탄인 저 옛 뱀을 붙잡았으며, 그를 천 년 동안 결박하였고,
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 그를 끝없는 구렁 속에 던졌으며, 그를 가두고 그 위에 봉인을 하였으니, 그 천 년이 찰 때까지 그가 더 이상 민족들을 속이지 못하게 하려 함이라. 그런즉 그 뒤에 그가 반드시 잠시 동안 풀려나야만 하느니라.
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 그리고 내가 보좌들과 그것들 위에 앉은 자들을 보았는데 심판이 그들에게 주어졌더라. 또한 내가 예수님의 증거를 위하여 그리고 하나님의 말씀을 위하여 목 베임을 당한 자들의 혼들도 보았는데 그들은 그 짐승도, 그의 형상도 경배하지 않았고 그의 표를 그들의 이마 위에나 그들의 손안에 받지도 아니하였더라. 그런즉 그들은 살아서 그리스도와 함께 천 년 동안 통치하였더라.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 그러나 죽은 자들 중 나머지는 그 천 년이 끝나게 될 때까지 다시 살지 못하였더라. 이것이 첫째 부활이라.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 첫째 부활에 참여하는 자는 복되고 거룩하도다. 둘째 사망이 그러한 자들을 다스릴 권능이 없고 오히려 그들이 하나님의 제사장들과 그리스도의 제사장들이 될 것이요, 그분과 함께 천 년 동안 통치할 것이라.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7 그리고 그 천 년이 다 끝나고 나면 사탄이 그의 감옥에서 풀려날 것이요,
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 나가서 땅의 사방에 있는 민족들, 곧 곡과 마곡을 속이고 그들을 함께 모아 전투를 하게 할 것이라. 그들의 수는 바다의 모래 같으니라.
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 그리고 그들은 땅의 넓은 곳 위로 올라갔고 성도들의 진영과 그 사랑받는 도성을 포위하였더라. 그러자 하늘에서 하나님께로부터 불이 내려와서 그들을 집어삼켰더라.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 그리고 그들을 속인 마귀는 그 짐승과 그 거짓 예언자가 있는 불과 유황의 호수 속으로 던져졌으니, 영원무궁토록 주야로 심히 고통당하게 되리라.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11 그리고 내가 거대한 백보좌와 그 위에 앉으신 분을 보았는데 그분의 면전에서 땅과 하늘이 달아나 버렸더라. 그리하여 그것들을 위한 장소가 전혀 발견되지 아니하였더라.
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 그러고 나서 내가 죽은 자들이 작은 자, 큰 자 할 것 없이 하나님 앞에 서 있는 것을 보았는데 책들이 펼쳐졌더라. 그리고 또 다른 책이 펼쳐졌는데 그것은 생명책이라. 그리하여 죽은 자들이 자신들의 행위들에 따라 책들 안에 기록된 그것들대로 심판을 받았더라.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 그리고 바다가 그 안에 있던 죽은 자들을 내어 주었고 사망과 지옥도 그것들 안에 있던 죽은 자들을 넘겨주었더라. 그러자 그들 각인이 자신들의 행위들에 따라 심판을 받았더라.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 그리고 사망과 지옥도 불의 호수 속에 던져졌더라. 이것이 둘째 사망이라.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 그리고 누구든지 생명책 안에 기록된 것이 발견되지 않은 자는 불의 호수 속에 던져졌더라.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
