1 이후에 오순절 날이 완전히 임하자 그들이 모두 한뜻이 되어 한 장소에 있었더라.
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 이윽고 갑자기 세차고 막강한 바람에서 나온 것 같은 소리가 하늘로부터 임하였으니, 그것이 그들이 앉아 있던 온 집을 채웠더라.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 그리고 마치 불로 인한 것 같은 갈라진 혀들이 그들에게 나타났으며 그것이 그들 각 사람 위에 안착하였더라.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 그러자 그들이 모두 성령님으로 충만하였으니, 성령께서 그들에게 말하는 능력을 주신 대로 다른 방언들로 말하기 시작하였더라.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
5 그리고 유대인들인 독실한 남자들이 하늘 아래 저마다 모든 민족으로부터 나와서 예루살렘에 거하고 있었더라.
5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6 이때 이것이 널리 소문이 퍼지자 무리가 함께 왔는데 모든 사람이 저마다 자기 자신의 언어로 그들이 말하는 것을 들었기에 어리둥절하였더라.
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
7 그리고 그들이 다 놀랐고 경탄하며 서로 이같이 말하였더라. “보라, 말하고 있는 이 자들은 모두 갈릴리인들이 아닌가?
7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
8 그런데 어떻게 우리 각인이 우리가 태어난 곳에 속한 우리 고유의 방언으로 말하는 것을 듣는가?
8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
9 곧, 팔디인들과, 메데 사람들과, 엘람족들과, 메소포타미아의 거주민들과, 유대와 카파도키아의 거주민들과, 폰투스와 아시아와
9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10 프루기아와 팜필리아의 거주민들과, 이집트의 거주민들과, 키레네 근방에 있는 리비아의 여러 영역들의 거주민들과, 로마의 타국인들과, 유대인들과 유대교 개종자들과,
10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
11 크레타 사람들과, 아라비아인들인 우리가 우리의 방언들로 하나님의 경이로운 역사들을 전하는 그들의 말을 듣는도다.”
11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
12 그런즉 그들이 모두 놀랐으니, 의심 가운데 서로 말하기를, “이것은 무엇을 의미하는가?” 하였더라.
12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
13 다른 이들은 조롱하며 말하기를, “이 사람들이 새 포도즙으로 취하였도다.” 하였더라.
13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
14 ¶ 그러나 열한 명과 함께 일어선 베드로가 그의 목소리를 높여서 그들에게 이같이 말하였더라. “유대 사람들인 너희여, 그리고 예루살렘에 거하는 너희 모두여, 이것이 너희에게 알려지기를 바라노라. 그런즉 나의 말들에 경청하라.
14 ¶ But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
15 이는 지금 겨우 낮 제삼시이므로 너희가 추정하는 것처럼 이들이 취한 것이 아니기 때문이라.
15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
16 그러나 이것은 예언자 요엘에 의하여 언급된 바라.
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 ‘그리하여 마지막 날들에 이러한 일들이 있으리니, 하나님께서 이같이 말씀하시니라. ‘내가 나의 영을 모든 육체 위에 쏟아붓겠노라. 그리하면 너희의 아들들과 너희의 딸들이 예언할 것이요, 너희의 청년들은 현시들을 볼 것이요, 너희의 노인들은 꿈들을 꾸리라.
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18 그리고 그날들에 내가 나의 종들과 나의 몸종들 위에 나의 영을 쏟아붓겠노라. 그리하면 그들이 예언할 것이라.
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
19 그리고 내가 위로는 하늘에서 이적들을, 아래로는 땅에서 표적들을 보이리니, 피와 불과 연기에서 나온 안개라.
19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
20 저 중대하고 현저한, 주의 날이 오기 전에 해가 어둠으로 변할 것이요, 달은 피로 변하리라.
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
21 그러고 나서 이러한 일이 있으리니, 주의 이름을 부를 자는 누구든지 구원을 받으리라.’’
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
22 너희, 이스라엘 사람들아, 이 말들을 들으라. 너희 자신도 알다시피, 나사렛 예수님께서는 너희 가운데서 기적들과 이적들과 표적들로써 하나님께 검증된 한 사람이시니, 하나님께서는 그분을 통하여 그것들을 너희 한가운데서 행하셨느니라.
22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
23 하나님의 확정적인 계획과 미리 아심에 의하여 넘겨지신 그분을 너희가 붙잡았고 사악한 손으로 십자가에 못 박아 살해하였도다.
23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
24 그분께서 사망에 붙들려 있는 것이 불가능하였기에 하나님께서 그분을 일으켜 세우시어 사망의 고통들에서 풀어 주셨느니라.
24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
25 이는 다윗이 그분에 관하여 언급하기 때문이라. ‘제가 항상 제 얼굴 앞에서 주를 미리 보았으니, 그분께서 제가 요동하지 않도록 저의 오른편에 계시기 때문이니이다.
25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
26 그러므로 저의 마음이 크게 기뻐하였고 저의 혀가 반가워하였나이다. 더욱이 저의 육체 또한 소망 가운데 안식하리이다.
26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
27 이는 당신께서 저의 혼을 지옥에 남겨 두지 아니하실 것이요, 또한 당신께서 당신의 거룩하신 분이 부패함을 보도록 내버려 두지 않으실 것이기 때문이니이다.
27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
28 당신께서 저에게 생명의 길들을 알게 해주셨나이다. 당신께서는 당신의 용모로 제게 충만한 즐거움을 선사하실 것이니이다.’
28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
29 남자 형제들아, 나로 하여금 족장 다윗에 관하여 너희에게 자유롭게 말하도록 허락하라. 그는 죽기도 하고 장사되기도 하였으니, 그의 돌무덤이 오늘날까지도 우리와 함께 있도다.
29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
30 그러므로 그는 예언자였기에, 그리고 하나님께서 그에게 맹세로 서약하신 것, 곧 육체에 따라 그의 허리에서 나온 열매로부터 그분께서 그리스도를 일으켜 세우셔서 그의 보좌 위에 앉히시리라는 것을 알았기에,
30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
31 그가 이것을 미리 보고 그리스도의 부활에 관하여 전하였으니, 곧 그의 혼이 지옥에 버려지지 아니하였고, 그의 육체도 부패함을 보지 아니하였다는 것이라.
31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
32 이 예수님을 하나님께서 일으켜 세우셨으니 우리 모두가 그것의 증인들이라.
32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
33 그러므로 하나님의 오른손에 의하여 크게 높아지시고 아버지에게서 성령님의 약속을 받으신 그분께서 이것을 흘려보내셨으니, 너희가 지금 보고 듣고 있는 것이라.
33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
34 이는 다윗이 하늘들 속으로 올라간 것이 아니기 때문이라. 그러나 그는 스스로 이같이 말하니라. ‘주께서 나의 주께 말씀하시기를, ‘너는 나의 오른편에 앉아 있으라.
34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
35 곧, 내가 너의 적들을 너의 발등상으로 삼을 때까지라.’ 하셨나이다.’
35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
36 그러므로 이스라엘 집 전체는 명백히 알지니, 하나님께서는 그 동일한 예수님, 곧 너희가 십자가에 못 박은 분을 주뿐만 아니라 그리스도로도 삼으셨도다.”
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
37 ¶ 이때 그들이 이것을 듣자 그들이 자기 마음속에 찔림을 받아 베드로와 나머지 사도들에게 말하기를, “남자 형제들아, 우리가 무엇을 해야 하겠는가?” 하였더라.
37 ¶ Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 그때 베드로가 그들에게 이같이 말하였더라. “회개하라. 그리고 너희는 각자 죄들의 사면으로 인하여 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 침례를 받으라. 그리하면 너희는 성령님의 선물을 받으리라.
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 이는 너희에게와 너희 자녀들에게와 아득히 떨어져 있는 모든 자들, 곧 주 우리 하나님께서 부르실 자들 모두에게 그 약속이 있기 때문이라.”
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
40 그러고 나서 그가 여러 다른 말씀들로 증언하고 권면하며 말하기를, “이 패역한 세대로부터 너희 자신을 구원하라.” 하였더라.
40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
41 ¶ 그때 그의 말을 흡족하게 받아들인 자들은 침례를 받았더라. 그리고 같은 날 그들에게 약 삼천 명의 혼들이 더해졌더라.
41 ¶ Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
42 그리고 그들이 확고하게 사도들의 교리와 교제 안에 계속 있으며 빵을 찢는 일과 기도들을 지속하였더라.
42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
43 그리고 모든 혼 위에 저마다 두려움이 임하였으니, 많은 이적들과 표적들이 사도들에 의하여 행하여졌더라.
43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
44 또 믿는 자들 모두가 함께하였고 모든 것들을 공동으로 소유하였으니,
44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45 각각의 모든 사람이 지닌 필요에 따라 자신들의 소유들과 재화들을 팔아 그것들을 모든 사람들에게 분담하였더라.
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
46 그리고 그들이 매일 성전 안에서 한뜻이 되어 계속 거하여 집집마다 돌아가며 빵을 찢고 자신들의 음식을 하나 된 마음으로 즐겁게 먹으면서
46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
47 하나님을 찬송하였으니, 모든 백성에게서 호의를 얻었더라. 그리하여 주께서 교회에 그와 같이 구원받아야 할 자들을 매일 더해주셨더라.
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
