1 그때 주께서 나에게 말씀하시기를, “이제는 가라. 그녀의 친구에게 사랑을 받으나 그럼에도 간음하는 여자를 사랑하되 다른 신들을 바라보고 포도주가 든 음료병들을 사랑하는 이스라엘 자녀들을 향한 주의 사랑을 따라 사랑하라.” 하셨느니라.

1 Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.

2 그렇게 하여 내가 은화 열다섯 개와 보리 일 호멜과 보리 반 호멜을 내고 그녀를 나에게 사들였더라.

2 So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley:

3 그리고 내가 그녀에게 말하기를, “너는 많은 날들 동안 나를 위하여 거할지니라. 너는 창녀 짓을 하지 말지니, 너는 다른 남자를 위하지 말라. 나도 너를 위하여 그리하겠노라.” 하였더라.

3 And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee.

4 이는 이스라엘 자녀들이 많은 날들 동안 왕도 하나 없고 통치자도 하나 없고 희생 제물도 하나 없고 형상도 하나 없고 에봇도 하나 없고 테라핌도 없이 거할 것이기 때문이라.

4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim:

5 장래에는 이스라엘 자녀들이 되돌아와서 주 그들의 하나님과 그들의 왕 다윗을 찾을 것이요, 마지막에 가까운 날들에 주와 그분의 선하심을 두려워하리라.

5 Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.
