1 또한 너, 사람의 아들아, 이스라엘의 산들에게 예언하여 이같이 말하라. 너희, 이스라엘의 산들아, 주의 말씀을 들으라.
1 Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD:
2 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 이는 원수가 너희를 대적하여 말하기를, ‘아하, 바로 그 고대의 높은 처소들이 우리의 소유로다.’ 하였기 때문이라.
2 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:
3 그러므로 예언하여 이같이 말하라. 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 이는 그들이 너희를 황량하게 하여 너희를 사면에서 삼켜 버렸기 때문이니, 이는 너희로 하여금 이교도들 중 남아 있는 자들에게 소유가 되도록 함이라. 그런즉 너희는 수다스러운 자들의 입술에 오르며 백성의 악명이 되는도다.
3 Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:
4 그러므로 너희, 이스라엘의 산들아, 주 하나님의 말을 들으라. 산들에게, 언덕들에게, 강들에게, 골짜기들에게, 황폐한 불모지들에게, 버림받은 도시들, 곧 주위에 있는 이교도들 중 남아 있는 자들에게 전리품이자 웃음거리가 된 자들에게 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라.
4 Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;
5 그러므로 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 분명히 내가 나의 질투의 불 가운데서 이교도들 중 남아 있는 자들을 대적하고 온 이두메아를 대적하며 말하였나니, 그들은 그들의 온 마음의 즐거움과 악의에 찬 생각들로 나의 지역을 자신들의 소유로 정하고는 그것을 전리품으로 내던졌느니라.
5 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.
6 그러므로 이스라엘 지역과 관련하여 예언하며 산들과 언덕들과 강들과 골짜기들에게 이같이 말하라. 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 보라, 너희가 이교도들의 수치를 짊어진 까닭에 내가 나의 질투와 나의 노여움 가운데서 말하였노라.
6 Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen:
7 그러므로 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 내가 나의 손을 들어 올렸으니, 너희 주변에 있는 이교도들, 바로 그들은 반드시 자신들의 수치를 짊어지리라.
7 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame.
8 ¶ 그러나, 오, 너희, 이스라엘의 산들아, 너희는 너희 가지들을 내밀고, 나의 백성 이스라엘에게 너희의 열매를 낼지니라. 이는 그들이 오는 것이 가깝기 때문이라.
8 ¶ But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.
9 보라, 이는 내가 너희를 위하기 때문이라. 그런즉 내가 너희에게로 돌이키겠으니, 그러면 너희는 경작되고 씨가 뿌려지리라.
9 For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown:
10 그런즉 내가 너희에게 사람들을 번성시키겠으니, 이스라엘 집 전체요, 곧 그것의 모든 자들이라. 그런즉 그 도시들에는 거주하는 자들이 있을 것이요, 불모지들이 건축되리라.
10 And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded:
11 그리고 내가 너희에게 사람과 짐승을 번성시키겠노라. 그리하면 그들이 융성해져서 열매를 가져오리라. 그리고 내가 너희의 옛 처지들에 따라 너희를 정착시키겠고, 너희의 시초들보다 너희에게 더 낫게 행하겠노라. 그리하면 너희는 내가 주라는 것을 알게 되리라.
11 And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
12 진정 내가 사람들로 하여금 너희 위에서 거닐게 하겠으니, 곧 나의 백성 이스라엘이라. 그리하여 그들은 너를 소유할 것이요, 너는 그들의 유산이 되리니, 네가 앞으로는 더 이상 그들에게서 사람들을 앗아가지 아니하리라.
12 Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of men.
13 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 이는 그들이 너희에게 말하기를, ‘너, 대지는 사람들을 집어삼켜 버렸고 너의 민족들에게서 사랑하는 이를 앗아갔도다.’ 하기 때문이라.
13 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they say unto you, Thou land devourest up men, and hast bereaved thy nations;
14 그러므로 너는 더 이상 사람들을 집어삼키지 아니할 것이요, 더 이상 너의 민족들에게서 사랑하는 이를 앗아가지도 아니하리라. 주 하나님이 말하노라.
14 Therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nations any more, saith the Lord GOD.
15 또한 내가 더 이상 사람들로 하여금 너의 안에서 이교도들의 수치를 듣지 못하게 하겠노라. 또한 너는 더 이상 백성들의 비방을 짊어지지도 아니할 것이며, 너는 더 이상 너의 민족들을 쓰러지게 하지도 아니하리라. 주 하나님이 말하노라.”
15 Neither will I cause men to hear in thee the shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the people any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations to fall any more, saith the Lord GOD.
16 ¶ 이뿐만 아니라 주의 말씀이 나에게 임하였으니, 이같이 말씀하셨느니라.
16 ¶ Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
17 “사람의 아들아, 이스라엘 집이 그들의 본토 안에서 거하던 때, 그들이 그들 자신의 길과 그들의 처사들에 의하여 그곳을 더럽혔도다. 내 앞에서 그들의 길은 분리된 여인의 불결함과 같았도다.
17 Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.
18 이러한 이유로 그들이 그 지역 위에 흘리게 한 피로 인하여, 또 그들이 그곳을 오염시킨 그들의 우상들로 인하여 내가 그들 위에 나의 노여움을 쏟아부었노라.
18 Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it:
19 그런즉 내가 이교도들 가운데로 그들을 흩었으니, 그들이 그 나라들로 흩어지게 되었도다. 그들의 길에 따라, 또 그들의 처신들에 따라 내가 그들을 심판하였노라.
19 And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.
20 그리하여 그들이 이교도들에게 들어갔을 때 그들이 그리로 간 곳에서 그들은 나의 거룩한 이름을 욕되게 하였으니, 저들이 그들에게 말하기를, ‘이들은 주의 백성이요, 그의 지역에서 나간 자들이라.’ 하였을 때라.
20 And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land.
21 ¶ 그러나 이스라엘 집이 그리로 간 이교도들 가운데서 그들이 욕되게 한 나의 거룩한 이름을 내가 애처롭게 생각하였도다.
21 ¶ But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they went.
22 그러므로 이스라엘 집에 이같이 말하라. 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 오, 이스라엘 집아, 내가 너희로 인하여 이것을 행하는 것이 아니니라. 오히려 너희가 그리로 간 이교도들 가운데서 너희가 욕되게 한 나의 거룩한 이름을 위한 것이라.
22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.
23 그런즉 내가 나의 위대한 이름을 거룩하게 구별하겠으니, 그 이름은 이교도들 가운데서 욕보임을 당하였고, 너희가 그들 한복판에서 욕되게 한 이름이라. 이후에 내가 그들의 눈앞에서 너희 안에서 거룩하게 구별될 때 내가 주라는 것을 그 이교도들은 알게 되리라. 주 하나님이 말하노라.
23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
24 이는 내가 너희를 이교도들 가운데서 데려오고, 모든 나라들에서 너희를 모을 것이요, 너희를 너희의 본토로 데려올 것이기 때문이라.
24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
25 ¶ 그때 내가 너희 위에 정결한 물을 뿌리겠으니, 너희는 정결해지리라. 너희의 모든 추악함으로부터, 너희의 모든 우상들로부터 내가 너희를 정결하게 하겠노라.
25 ¶ Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
26 또한 내가 너희에게 새로운 마음을 주겠고, 내가 너희 안에 새로운 영을 두겠노라. 그리하여 내가 너희 육신에서 돌 같은 마음을 제거하겠으니, 내가 너희에게 살로 된 마음을 주겠노라.
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27 그리고 내가 나의 영을 너희 안에 두겠으니, 너희로 하여금 나의 규례들 가운데 살아가게 할 것이요, 너희는 나의 공의로운 법규들을 지켜서 그것들을 행하리라.
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
28 그리고 너희는 내가 너희 조상들에게 준 지역 안에 거하리니, 너희는 나의 백성이 될 것이요, 나는 너희의 하나님이 되겠노라.
28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
29 내가 또한 너희의 모든 불결함에서 너희를 구원하겠노라. 또한 내가 곡식을 불러오겠고, 그것을 늘리겠으며, 너희 위에 어떤 기근도 두지 아니하겠노라.
29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.
30 그리고 내가 나무의 열매를 불어나게 하고, 밭의 소산을 늘어나게 하여 너희가 더 이상 이교도들 가운데서 기근의 치욕을 받지 아니하도록 하겠노라.
30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.
31 그때 너희는 너희 자신의 악한 길들과 너희의 선하지 아니하였던 처사들을 기억할 것이요, 너희의 죄악들과 너희의 가증함들로 인하여 너희 자신의 목전에서 스스로를 역겨워하리라.
31 Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
32 나는 너희를 위하여 이것을 행하는 것이 아니니, 그것이 너희에게 알려질지어다. 주 하나님이 말하노라. 오, 이스라엘 집아, 너희 자신의 길들로 인하여 부끄러워하고 당혹스러워하라.
32 Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.
33 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 내가 너희를 너희의 모든 죄악들에서 정결하게 할 날에 나는 또한 너희를 도성들 안에 거하게 할 것이니 불모지들이 건축되리라.
33 Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.
34 그런즉 그 황량한 토지가 경작될 것이니, 그것은 지나가던 모든 자들의 목전에 황량하게 놓여 있는 지금과 대조되는도다.
34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.
35 그리고 그들은 말하기를, ‘황량하던 이 지역이 에덴의 동산처럼 되었으니, 황폐하고 황량하며 폐허가 된 도시들이 방비가 강화되었고, 거주하는 자들이 생겼도다.’ 하리라.
35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.
36 그때 너희 주위에 남겨진 이교도들은, 나 주가 황폐한 곳들을 건축하며 황량한 곳에 초목을 심는 것을 알게 되리라. 나 주가 그것을 말하였으니, 내가 그것을 행하겠노라.
36 Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.
37 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 그럼에도 나는 이것이 이스라엘 집에 의하여 문의 받기를 바라노니, 그들을 위하여 그것을 행하고자 함이라. 내가 그들을 한 양 떼 같은 사람들로 늘리겠노라.
37 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.
38 마치 거룩한 양 떼같이, 예루살렘의 엄숙한 명절들에 있는 그녀의 양 떼같이, 불모지가 된 도시들이 사람들로 이루어진 양 무리들로 이처럼 채워지리라. 그리하면 그들은 내가 주라는 것을 알게 되리라.”
38 As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
