1 이후에 제육년 여섯째 달, 그달 오 일에 내가 내 집 안에 앉아 있고 유다의 장로들이 내 앞에 앉아 있는 동안 이러한 일이 있었으니, 주 하나님의 손이 거기에서 내 위에 임하시더라.
1 And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in mine house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord GOD fell there upon me.
2 그때 내가 보았더니, 보라, 불의 모양과 같은 모습이더라. 그분의 허리 모양부터 아랫쪽으로는 불이요, 그분의 허리부터 윗쪽으로는 마치 광채의 출현 같고, 호박의 황색과 같더라.
2 Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of his loins even downward, fire; and from his loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the colour of amber.
3 그러고 나서 그분께서 손의 형체를 내미시어 나의 머리채로 나를 잡으셨더라. 그러자 그 영께서 나를 들어 땅과 하늘 사이로 올리셨고 하나님의 현시들 안에서 나를 예루살렘으로 데려가시되, 북쪽을 향하여 바라보는 안쪽 대문의 문짝으로 데려가셨더라. 그곳에는 질투를 일으키는 질투의 형상의 자리가 있었더라.
3 And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.
4 그런데 보라, 내가 평야에서 목격했었던 그 현시대로 이스라엘의 하나님의 영광이 거기에 있었더라.
4 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain.
5 ¶ 그때 그분께서 나에게 말씀하시기를, “사람의 아들아, 이제 북쪽으로 향하는 길로 너의 두 눈을 들어 올리라.” 하셨느니라. 그렇게 하여 내가 북쪽으로 향하는 길로 나의 두 눈을 들어 올렸고, 제단의 대문에서 북쪽 방향으로, 출입구 안에 있는 이 질투의 형상을 보니라.
5 ¶ Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.
6 그분께서 나에게 덧붙여 말씀하시기를, “사람의 아들아, 너는 그들이 무엇을 행하는지 보고 있느냐? 무려 이스라엘 집이 여기서 저지른 대단히 가증한 것들이니, 나로 하여금 나의 성소에서 멀리 떠나게 하려 하는도다. 그러나 너는 또다시 돌아보라. 그리하면 너는 더 대단히 가증한 것들을 보리라.” 하셨느니라.
6 He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.
7 ¶ 그런 다음에 그분께서 나를 뜰의 문으로 데려오셨는데 내가 보았을 때, 벽에 있는 구멍을 보니라.
7 ¶ And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall.
8 그때 그분께서 나에게 말씀하시기를, “사람의 아들아, 이제 그 벽을 뚫으라.” 하셨느니라. 그런즉 내가 그 벽을 뚫었을 때 문 하나를 보니라.
8 Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door.
9 그러자 그분께서 나에게 말씀하시기를, “들어가서 그들이 여기서 행하는 사악하고 가증한 것들을 보라.” 하셨느니라.
9 And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.
10 그렇게 하여 내가 들어가서 보았더니, 각종 모든 형체의 기어다니는 것들과 가증한 짐승들과, 이스라엘 집의 모든 우상들이 벽 주위에 그려져 있는 것을 보니라.
10 So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.
11 그리고 거기에는 이스라엘 집의 원로들 중 칠십 인이 그것들 앞에 서 있었고, 샤판의 아들 야아자니야가 그들의 중심부에 서 있었는데, 모두 저마다 자기 손에 자기 향로를 들고 있더라. 그런즉 향의 짙은 자욱함이 올라갔더라.
11 And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.
12 그때 그분께서 나에게 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “사람의 아들아, 너는 이스라엘 집의 원로들이 어두운 데서 모든 사람마다 자기 형상이 있는 방실들에서 무엇을 행하는지 보았느냐? 이는 그들이 말하기를, ‘주께서 우리를 보지 아니하시는도다. 주께서 땅을 버리셨도다.’ 하기 때문이라.”
12 Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth.
13 ¶ 그분께서 또한 나에게 말씀하시기를, “너는 또다시 돌아보라. 그리하면 너는 그들이 행하는 더 엄청난 가증함들을 보리라.” 하셨느니라.
13 ¶ He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.
14 그때 그분께서 나를 북쪽을 향해 나 있던, 주의 집의 대문의 문짝으로 데려가셨더라. 그런데 보라, 거기에서 여자들이 탐무즈를 위하여 울며 앉아 있더라.
14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD'S house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.
15 ¶ 그때 그분께서 나에게 말씀하시기를, “오 사람의 아들아, 네가 이것을 보았느냐? 너는 또다시 돌아보라. 그리하면 너는 이것들보다 더 엄청난 가증함들을 보리라.” 하셨느니라.
15 ¶ Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.
16 그리고 그분께서 나를 주의 집의 안뜰로 데려가셨는데, 보라, 주랑과 제단 사이에 있는, 주의 성전의 문에 약 스물다섯 명이 있었는데 그들의 등이 주의 성전을 향하였고, 그들의 얼굴은 동쪽을 향하였더라. 그러면서 그들이 동쪽을 향하여 해에 대고 경배하였더라.
16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD'S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.
17 ¶ 그때 그분께서 나에게 이같이 말씀하셨느니라. “오, 사람의 아들아, 너는 이것을 보았느냐? 유다 집이 여기에서 범하는 가증한 것들을 스스로 저지르는 것이그들에게 가벼운 일이냐? 이는 그들이 그 지역을 폭력으로 채웠고 나에게 분노를 일으키려고 되돌아왔기 때문이라. 그런즉 보라, 그들이 가지를 그들의 코에 두었도다.
17 ¶ Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.
18 그러므로 내가 또한 노여움으로 대하겠노라. 나의 눈이 아끼지 아니할 것이요, 또한 나는 동정하지도 아니하겠노라. 그런즉 그들이 나의 두 귀에 대고 큰 목소리로 부르짖을지라도 그럼에도 나는 그들의 말을 듣지 아니하겠노라.”
18 Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.
