1 그때 이것이 그들의 족속들에 따른 유다 자녀들의 지파의 제비였더라. 즉, 남쪽 지경의 맨 끝부분은 남쪽으로 진 광야인 에돔의 경계까지였더라.
1 This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; even to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward was the uttermost part of the south coast.
2 또 그들의 남쪽 경계는 염해의 기슭부터요, 남쪽 방향을 바라보는 만에서부터요,
2 And their south border was from the shore of the salt sea, from the bay that looketh southward:
3 그것은 남쪽 측면인 마알레아크랍빔으로 뻗어 나가고 진을 따라 지나가서 남쪽 측면에서 카데시바네아로 올라가며, 헤즈론을 따라 지나가서 아달로 올라가 칼카아를 빙 둘러 우회하였으니,
3 And it went out to the south side to Maalehacrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadeshbarnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:
4 거기서부터 그것이 아즈몬 쪽으로 지나가서 이집트의 강으로 나갔더라. 그리고 그 지경에서 뻗어 나가는 지경들이 바다에 이르렀더라. 이것이 너희의 남쪽 국경이 되리라.
4 From thence it passed toward Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast.
5 다음으로 동쪽 경계는 염해, 곧 요르단의 끝까지였더라. 다음으로 그들의 북쪽 구간에 있는 그들의 경계는 요르단의 맨 끝부분에 있는 바다의 만에서부터였더라.
5 And the east border was the salt sea, even unto the end of Jordan. And their border in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan:
6 그리고 그 경계가 벧호글라로 올라갔고 벧아라바의 북쪽을 따라 지나갔더라. 이어서 그 경계는 르우벤의 아들인 보한의 돌까지 올라갔더라.
6 And the border went up to Bethhogla, and passed along by the north of Betharabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben:
7 그리고 그 경계는 아콜 골짜기부터 드빌을 향하여 올라갔고 이처럼 북쪽 방향으로 길갈 쪽을 바라보았는데, 그곳은 아둠밈으로 올라가는 길 앞에 있으며, 그곳은 그 강의 남쪽 측면에 있느니라. 이어서 그 경계가 엔셰메시의 물들을 향하여 지나갔고 그 경계에서 뻗어 나가는 지경들이 엔로겔에 도달하였더라.
7 And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is before the going up to Adummim, which is on the south side of the river: and the border passed toward the waters of Enshemesh, and the goings out thereof were at Enrogel:
8 이어서 그 경계는 힌놈의 아들의 골짜기로 올라가서 여부스족의 남쪽 측면에 이르렀더라. 바로 그곳이 예루살렘이라. 이어서 그 경계는 힌놈의 골짜기 앞에서 서쪽 방향으로 놓인 산꼭대기로 올라갔으니, 이곳은 거인들의 골짜기의 북편 끝에 있느니라.
8 And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward:
9 이어서 그 경계는 그 언덕의 꼭대기에서부터 넵토아의 물이 있는 샘에 연결되었으며, 에프론산의 도시들로 나갔더라. 이어서 그 경계는 바알라, 곧 키럇여아림으로 연결되었더라.
9 And the border was drawn from the top of the hill unto the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah, which is Kirjathjearim:
10 그리고 그 경계는 바알라에서부터 서쪽 방향인 세일산까지 빙 둘렀고 크살론인 여아림산의 측면으로 북쪽 면을 따라 지나갔으며 벧셰메시로 내려가서 팀나흐로 진출하였더라.
10 And the border compassed from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Jearim, which is Chesalon, on the north side, and went down to Bethshemesh, and passed on to Timnah:
11 이어서 그 경계는 북쪽 방향으로 에크론의 측면으로 뻗어 나갔더라. 그리고 그 경계는 시크론까지 연결되었고 바알라산을 따라 지나서 얍느엘까지 나아갔더라. 그런즉 그 경계에서 뻗어 나가는 지경들이 바다까지 도달하였더라.
11 And the border went out unto the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out unto Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea.
12 다음으로 서쪽 경계는 대해와 그것의 연안까지였더라. 이것이 유다 자녀들의 족속들에 따른 그들의 주변 지경이라.
12 And the west border was to the great sea, and the coast thereof. This is the coast of the children of Judah round about according to their families.
13 ¶ 여호수아에게 하신 주의 명령에 따라 여푼네의 아들 칼렙에게 그가 유다 자녀들 가운데서 지분을 주었으니, 곧 아낙의 아버지 아르바의 도시요, 그 도시는 헤브론이라.
13 ¶ And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron.
14 그런즉 칼렙이 거기서부터 아낙의 세 아들들인 셰샤이와 아히만과 탈마이, 곧 아낙의 자식들을 몰아내었더라.
14 And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.
15 그리고 그가 거기서부터 드빌의 거주자들에게 올라갔으니, 드빌의 이전 이름은 키럇세펠이었더라.
15 And he went up thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjathsepher.
16 ¶ 그러면서 칼렙이 말하기를, “키럇세펠을 치고 그곳을 점령하는 자에게는 내가 내 딸 악사를 아내로 주겠노라.” 하였더라.
16 ¶ And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjathsepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.
17 그러자 칼렙의 형제인 크나즈의 아들 옷니엘이 그곳을 점령하였더라. 그런즉 그가 자기 딸 악사를 그에게 아내로 주었더라.
17 And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.
18 그런 다음에 그녀가 그에게 왔을 때 이러한 일이 있었으니, 그녀가 그를 움직여 그녀의 아버지에게 들판을 구하게 하였더라. 그런즉 그녀가 자기 나귀에서 내렸더니 칼렙이 그녀에게 말하기를, “네가 무엇을 원하느냐?” 하였더라.
18 And it came to pass, as she came unto him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou?
19 그녀가 대답하기를, “제게 축복을 주소서. 이는 당신께서 제게 남쪽 지역을 주셨기 때문이니이다. 물이 솟는 샘들도 제게 주소서.” 하였더라. 그러자 그가 그녀에게 위쪽 샘들과 아래쪽 샘들을 주었더라.
19 Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs.
20 이것이 유다 자녀들의 족속들에 따른 그들 지파에 속한 유산이라.
20 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.
21 그런즉 남쪽 방향으로 에돔의 국경을 향하여 있는 유다 자녀들의 지파에 속한 맨끝의 도시들은 캅즈엘과 에델과 야굴이었으며,
21 And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the coast of Edom southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,
22 키나와 디모나와 아다다와
22 And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,
23 케데시와 하졸과 잇난과
23 And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,
24 지프와 텔렘과 브알롯과
24 Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,
25 하졸과 하닷타와 크리옷과 하졸인 헤즈론과
25 And Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, and Hezron, which is Hazor,
26 아맘과 셰마와 몰라다와
26 Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,
27 하잘갓다와 헤슈몬과 벧팔렛과
27 And Hazargaddah, and Heshmon, and Bethpalet,
28 하잘슈알과 베르셰바와 비즈욧야와
28 And Hazarshual, and Beersheba, and Bizjothjah,
29 바알라와 이임과 아젬과
29 Baalah, and Iim, and Azem,
30 엘톨랏과 크실과 호르마와
30 And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,
31 지클락과 맛만나와 산산나와
31 And Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah,
32 르바옷과 실힘과 아인과 림몬이니, 총 스물아홉 도시들과 그곳들의 촌락들이라.
32 And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all the cities are twenty and nine, with their villages:
33 이어서 골짜기 가운데는 에슈타올과 조르아와 아슈나와
33 And in the valley, Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,
34 자노아와 엔간님과 탑푸아와 에남과
34 And Zanoah, and Engannim, Tappuah, and Enam,
35 야르뭇과 아둘람과 소코와 아제카와
35 Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,
36 샤라임과 아디다임과 그데라와 그데로다임이니, 열네 도시들과 그곳들의 촌락들이요,
36 And Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen cities with their villages:
37 즈난과 하다샤와 믹달갓과
37 Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdalgad,
38 딜르안과 미즈페와 욕드엘과
38 And Dilean, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,
39 라키시와 보즈캇과 에글론과
39 Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,
40 캅본과 라맘과 키들리시와
40 And Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,
41 그데롯과 벧다곤과 나아마와 막케다니, 열여섯 도시들과 그곳들의 촌락들이요,
41 And Gederoth, Bethdagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah; sixteen cities with their villages:
42 립나와 에텔과 아샨과
42 Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan,
43 입타와 아슈나와 느집과
43 And Jiphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,
44 크일라와 악집과 마레샤니, 아홉 도시들과 그곳들의 촌락들이요,
44 And Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities with their villages:
45 에크론과 그녀의 마을들과 그녀의 촌락들이요,
45 Ekron, with her towns and her villages:
46 에크론부터 바다에 이르기까지 아슈돗 가까이에 놓인 모든 곳과 그곳들의 촌락들이라.
46 From Ekron even unto the sea, all that lay near Ashdod, with their villages:
47 아슈돗과 그녀의 마을들과 그녀의 촌락들이요, 가자와 그녀의 마을들과 그녀의 촌락들이니, 이집트의 강과 대해와 그곳의 경계까지 이르니라.
47 Ashdod with her towns and her villages, Gaza with her towns and her villages, unto the river of Egypt, and the great sea, and the border thereof:
48 ¶ 이어서 산들 속에는 샤밀과 얏틸과 소코와
48 ¶ And in the mountains, Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh,
49 단나와 드빌, 곧 키럇산나와
49 And Dannah, and Kirjathsannah, which is Debir,
50 아납과 에슈트모와 아님과
50 And Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim,
51 고셴과 홀론과 길로니, 열한 도시들과 그곳들의 촌락들이요,
51 And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh; eleven cities with their villages:
52 아랍과 두마와 에셰안과
52 Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,
53 야눔과 벧탑푸아와 아페카와
53 And Janum, and Bethtappuah, and Aphekah,
54 훔타와 헤브론, 곧 키럇아르바와 지올이니, 아홉 도시들과 그곳들의 촌락들이요,
54 And Humtah, and Kirjatharba, which is Hebron, and Zior; nine cities with their villages:
55 마온과 칼멜과 지프와 윳타와
55 Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Juttah,
56 이즈르엘과 욕드암과 자노아와
56 And Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,
57 카인과 기브아와 팀나흐니, 열 도시들과 그곳들의 촌락들이요,
57 Cain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten cities with their villages:
58 할헐과 벧줄과 그돌과
58 Halhul, Bethzur, and Gedor,
59 마아랏과 벧아놋과 엘트콘이니, 여섯 도시들과 그곳들의 촌락들이요,
59 And Maarath, and Bethanoth, and Eltekon; six cities with their villages:
60 키럇여아림이라 하는 키럇바알과 랍바니, 두 도시들과 그곳들의 촌락들이라.
60 Kirjathbaal, which is Kirjathjearim, and Rabbah; two cities with their villages:
61 광야 가운데는 벧아라바와 밋딘과 스카카와
61 In the wilderness, Betharabah, Middin, and Secacah,
62 닙샨과 소금의 도시와 엔게디니, 여섯 도시들과 그곳들의 촌락들이라.
62 And Nibshan, and the city of Salt, and Engedi; six cities with their villages.
63 ¶ 예루살렘의 거주자들인 여부스족들로 말하자면, 유다 자녀들이 그들을 내쫓을 수 없었더라. 오히려 여부스족들이 유다 자녀들과 함께 예루살렘에서 거하니, 오늘날에 이르니라.
63 ¶ As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out: but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day.
