1 그런 다음에 모세가 이스라엘 자녀들에 관하여 지파들의 수장들에게 이같이 일러 말하였더라. “이것은 주께서 명령하신 것이라.
1 And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded.
2 만일 어떤 남자가 주께 서원으로 서원하거나 자기 혼을 속박으로 속박하는 맹세로 맹세한다면, 그는 자신의 말을 어기지 말지니, 그는 자기 입에서 나오는 모든 것대로 행할지니라.
2 If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
3 만일 어떤 여자 역시 그녀의 어린 시절에 자기 아버지의 집 안에 있는 동안 주께 서원으로 서원하고, 속박으로 스스로를 속박한 경우,
3 If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father's house in her youth;
4 그리고 그녀의 아버지가 그녀의 서원을 듣고 그녀가 그것으로 자기 혼을 속박한 그녀의 속박도 들었는데 그녀의 아버지가 그녀에게 자신의 침묵을 지킬 경우, 그때 그녀의 모든 서원들은 유효하며 그녀가 자기 혼을 속박한 모든 속박마다 유효하리라.
4 And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.
5 그러나 만일 그녀의 아버지가 그녀의 서원을 듣는 날에 그가 그녀에게 허락하지 아니하는 경우, 그녀의 서원들 중에서나 그녀가 자기 혼을 속박한 그녀의 속박들 중에서 어떤 것도 유효하지 아니하리라. 그리하면 주께서 그녀를 용서하시리니, 그녀의 아버지가 그녀에게 허락하지 않은 까닭이라.
5 But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.
6 그리고 그녀가 서원하거나 그녀의 입술에서 조금이라도 입 밖에 꺼내어 그녀가 자기 혼을 속박하였을 때 만일 그녀에게 아예 남편이 있었다면,
6 And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;
7 그리하여 그녀의 남편이 그것을 들었는데 그가 그것을 들은 날에 그녀에게 자신의 침묵을 지켰다면, 그때 그녀의 서원들은 유효하며 그녀가 그것으로 자기 혼을 속박한 그녀의 속박들도 유효하리라.
7 And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
8 그런데 만일 그녀의 남편이 그것을 들은 날에 그가 그녀에게 허락하지 않은 경우, 그때 그녀가 서원한 그녀의 서원과, 그녀가 자기 입술로 발설한 것과, 그것으로 그녀가 자기 혼을 속박한 것을 그가 아무 효력이 없게 만들지니라. 그런즉 주께서 그녀를 용서하시리라.
8 But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.
9 그러나 과부의 모든 서원과 이혼 당한 여인의 모든 서원, 곧 그들이 그것으로 자신들의 혼을 속박한 서원은 저마다 그녀를 거슬러 유효하리라.
9 But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.
10 그리고 만일 그녀가 자기 남편의 집 안에서 서원하였거나 자기 혼을 맹세와 더불어 속박으로 속박한 경우,
10 And if she vowed in her husband's house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath;
11 그리하여 그녀의 남편이 그것을 들었는데 그녀에게 자신의 침묵을 지키고 그녀를 금하지 아니하였다면, 그때 그녀의 모든 서원들은 유효할 것이요, 그녀가 그것으로 자신의 혼을 속박한 모든 속박마다 유효하리라.
11 And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
12 그러나 만일 그녀의 남편이 그것들을 듣는 날에 그가 그것들을 철저히 무효로 만든 경우, 그때 그녀의 서원들에 관하여나 그녀의 혼의 속박에 관하여 그녀의 입술에서 나온 것은 무엇이나 유효하지 아니하리라. 그녀의 남편이 그것들을 무효로 만들었으니, 주께서 그녀를 용서하시리라.
12 But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her.
13 모든 서원마다, 또 혼을 괴롭게 하기 위한 모든 속박하는 맹세마다 그녀의 남편이 그것을 확립하거나 그녀의 남편이 그것을 무효로 만들 수 있느니라.
13 Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.
14 그러나 만일 그녀의 남편이 날이 지나도 그녀에게 전적으로 자신의 침묵을 지킨 경우, 그때 그는 그녀의 모든 서원들이나 그녀 위에 있는 그녀의 모든 속박들을 확립하느니라. 그가 그것들을 들은 날에 그녀에게 자신의 침묵을 지킨 까닭에 그는 그것들을 확정하느니라.
14 But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them.
15 그러나 만일 그가 그것들을 들은 뒤에 어떤 방법들로라도 그것들을 무효로 만들면, 그때는 그가 그녀의 죄악을 담당하리라.”
15 But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity.
16 이것들은 남자와 그의 아내 사이에, 아버지와 그의 딸 사이에, 곧 아직 그녀가 어려서 자기 아버지 집 안에 있는 여자에 관하여 주께서 모세에게 명령하신 규례들이라.
16 These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father's house.
