1 내가 나를 구하지 아니하던 자들에게서 간구를 받고, 내가 나를 찾지 아니하던 자들에게서 발견되는도다. 나는 나의 이름으로 불리지 아니하던 민족에게 말하기를, “나를 보라, 나를 보라.” 하였도다.
1 I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.
2 내가 반역하는 백성에게 종일 나의 두 손을 폈나니, 그들은 그들 자신의 생각들을 따라 선하지 아니한 길 가운데 살아가는 자들이요,
2 I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;
3 나의 얼굴에 대고 지속적으로 나에게 분노를 일으키는 백성이요, 동산들 안에서 희생 제물을 바치고 벽돌로 된 제단들 위에서 향을 태우는 자들이라.
3 A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;
4 그들은 무덤들 사이에 남아 있고 비석들 가운데 묵는 자들이요, 돼지고기와, 그들의 그릇들 안에 담긴 가증한 것들의 국물을 먹는 자들이요,
4 Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
5 그들은 이같이 말하기를, “너 혼자 서 있고 나에게 가까이 오지 말라. 이는 내가 너보다 거룩하기 때문이라.” 하는 자들이라. 이들은 나의 콧속의 연기요, 종일 타오르는 불이라.
5 Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.
6 보라, 그것이 내 앞에 기록되었도다. 내가 잠잠하지 않겠으며 다만 갚겠으니, 바로 그들의 품속에 갚겠고,
6 Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom,
7 너희의 죄악들과 너희 조상들의 죄악들을 함께 갚겠노라. 주가 말하노라. 그들은 산들 위에서 향을 태웠고, 언덕들 위에서 나를 모독하였도다. 그러므로 내가 그들의 이전 행위를 측량하여 그들의 품속에 갚겠노라.
7 Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
8 ¶ 주가 이같이 말하노라. 마치 포도송이에서 새 포도즙이 발견되어 누군가 말하기를, “그것을 멸하지 말라. 이는 그것 안에 복이 있기 때문이라.” 하듯, 이처럼 나도 나의 종들을 위하여 행하겠으니, 내가 그들 모두를 멸하지 않으려는 것이라.
8 ¶ Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all.
9 그런즉 내가 야곱에서 씨를, 유다에서 나의 산들의 상속인을 내겠노라. 그리하여 나의 택함받은 자들이 그곳을 상속할 것이요, 나의 종들이 거기에서 거하리라.
9 And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
10 그런즉 샤론이 양 떼들의 양우리가 되고, 아콜 골짜기는 소 떼들이 그 안에 드러눕는 처소이자 나를 찾은 나의 백성을 위한 처소가 되리라.
10 And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.
11 그러나 너희는 주를 버린 자들이요, 나의 거룩한 산을 잊은 자들이요, 그 군부대를 위한 식탁을 예비하는 자들이요, 그 수대로 음료 제물을 제공하는 자들이라.
11 But ye are they that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number.
12 그러므로 내가 너희 수를 세어 칼에 이르게 하겠으니, 너희는 모두 살육자에게 조아리리라. 이는 내가 불렀을 때 너희가 대답하지 아니하였고, 내가 말하였을 때 너희가 듣지 아니하였으며, 오히려 나의 두 눈앞에서 악을 행하였고, 내가 크게 기뻐하지 아니하는 것을 선택하였기 때문이라.
12 Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.
13 그러므로 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 보라, 나의 종들은 먹을 것이나 너희는 배고프리라. 보라, 나의 종들은 마실 것이나 너희는 목마르리라. 보라, 나의 종들은크게 기뻐할 것이나 너희는 부끄러워하리라.
13 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:
14 보라, 나의 종들은 마음의 즐거움으로 인하여 노래할 것이나 너희는 마음의 슬픔으로 인하여 부르짖을 것이요, 영의 번민으로 인하여 울부짖으리라.
14 Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.
15 그런즉 너희는 나의 선택된 자들에게 저주로 너희의 이름을 남기리라. 이는 주 하나님이 너를 살해할 것이요, 그의 종들을 또 다른 이름으로 부를 것이기 때문이라.
15 And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:
16 이로써 땅에서 자신을 축복하는 자는 진리의 하나님 안에서 자신을 축복할 것이요, 땅에서 맹세하는 자는 진리의 하나님을 두고 맹세하리라. 이는 이전의 곤경들이 잊히기 때문이요, 그것들이 나의 두 눈으로부터 숨겨지는 까닭이라.
16 That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.
17 ¶ 이는 보라, 내가 새 하늘들과 새 땅을 창조하기 때문이라. 그런즉 이전 것은 기억되지 아니할 것이요, 생각나지도 아니하리라.
17 ¶ For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18 그러나 너희는 내가 창조하는 것을 즐거워하고 영원토록 크게 기뻐하라. 이는 보라, 내가 예루살렘을 큰 기쁨으로 그녀의 백성을 즐거움으로 창조하노라.
18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 그리고 내가 예루살렘을 크게 기뻐하고 나의 백성을 즐거워하겠노라. 그리하면 우는 목소리가 더 이상 그녀 안에서 들리지 아니할 것이요, 부르짖는 음성도 들리지 아니할 것이라.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20 그때부터는 더 이상 며칠밖에 살지 못한 유아가 한 명도 없을 것이요, 자신의 날들을 채우지 못한 노인이 한 명도 없으리라. 이는 아이가 일백 세에 죽을 것이기 때문이라. 그러나 죄인은 일백 세가 되어도 저주를 받으리라.
20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
21 그리고 그들은 집들을 건축할 것이요, 그곳들에 거주하리라. 그리고 그들은 포도원들을 세우고 그곳들의 열매를 먹으리라.
21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
22 그들은 다른 이가 거하도록 건축하지 않을 것이요, 그들은 다른 이가 먹도록 심지 아니하리라. 이는 나의 백성의 날들이 나무의 날들과 같아서 나의 택함 받은 자들이 그들의 손의 결과물을 오랫동안 향유할 것이기 때문이라.
22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23 그들이 헛되이 진통을 겪지 아니할 것이요, 곤경을 위해 낳지도 아니하리라. 이는 그들이 주께 복을 받은 자의 씨요, 그들과 함께하는 그들의 후예도 그러하기 때문이라.
23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
24 그런즉 이러한 일이 있으리니, 그들이 부르기도 전에 내가 응답하겠노라. 그리고 그들이 아직 말하고 있는 동안 내가 듣겠노라.
24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
25 늑대와 어린양이 함께 풀을 뜯을 것이요, 사자가 수송아지처럼 짚을 먹을 것이요, 진토가 뱀의 음식이 되리라. 그것들이 나의 거룩한 산의 모든 곳에서 다치게 하지 아니할 것이요, 멸하지도 아니하리라. 주가 말하노라.
25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
