<다윗의 시편>
<A Psalm of David.>
1 오, 나의 혼아, 주를 찬양하라. 나의 안에 있는 모든 것들아, 그분의 거룩한 이름을 찬양하라.
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 오, 나의 혼아, 주를 찬양하라. 그리고 그분의 모든 은총들을 잊지 말라.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 그분께서는 너의 모든 죄악들을 용서하시는 분이요, 너의 모든 질병들을 치유하시는 분이요,
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 너의 생명을 멸망으로부터 구속하시는 분이요, 인애하심과 온화한 자비들로 너에게 왕관을 씌우시는 분이요,
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 좋은 것들로 너의 입을 만족시키시는 분이시라. 그렇게 해서 너의 젊음은 독수리의 젊음처럼 새로워지는도다.
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6 주께서 압제받는 모든 자들을 위하여 의와 심판을 집행하시는도다.
6 The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
7 그분께서 자신의 길들을 모세에게, 자신의 행적들을 이스라엘 자녀들에게 알리셨도다.
7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
8 주께서는 자비로우시고 은혜로우시며, 분노를 늦추시고 자비가 풍요로우시도다.
8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
9 그분께서 항상 힐책하지는 아니하실 것이요, 그분께서 자신의 분노를 영원토록 간직하지도 아니하실 것이라.
9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
10 그분께서 우리의 죄들에 따라 우리를 다루지 아니하셨으니, 우리의 죄악들에 따라 우리에게 갚지도 아니하셨도다.
10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 이는 마치 하늘이 땅 위에 높음같이, 그분을 두려워하는 자들을 향한 그분의 자비가 이처럼 크나크시기 때문이라.
11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
12 동이 서에서 멀듯, 그분께서 우리의 불법들을 우리에게서 이처럼 멀리 옮기셨도다.
12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
13 아버지가 자기 자녀들을 동정하는 것처럼, 주께서 자신을 두려워하는 자들을 이처럼 동정하시는도다.
13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
14 이는 그분께서 우리의 짜임새를 아시기 때문이라. 그분께서 우리가 티끌이라는 것을 기억하시는도다.
14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
15 사람으로 말하자면, 그의 날들은 풀과 같도다. 마치 들꽃같이 그가 그렇게 꽃피는도다.
15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
16 이는 바람이 그 위를 지나가면 그것이 없어지기 때문이라. 그리하면 그것의 처소가 더 이상 그것을 알지 아니하리라.
16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
17 그러나 주의 자비는 그분을 두려워하는 자들 위에 영원부터 영원까지 있으며, 그분의 의는 자자손손에게 미치나니,
17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
18 그분의 언약을 지키는 그러한 자들에게도, 그분의 명령들을 기억하여 그것들을 행하려고 하는 자들에게도 미치는도다.
18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
19 주께서 자신의 보좌를 하늘들에 예비하셨도다. 그리하여 그분의 왕국이 모든 것을 다스리는도다.
19 The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
20 그분의 천사들, 곧 힘에 있어서 탁월한 이들이요, 그분의 말씀의 음성에 경청하면서 그분의 명령들을 행하는 이들인 너희여, 주를 찬양하라.
20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
21 그분의 모든 군대들인 너희여, 그분의 기쁨을 실행하는 그분의 사역자들인 너희여, 너희는 주를 찬양하라.
21 Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
22 그분의 통치권에 속한 모든 곳들에 있는 그분의 모든 작품들이여, 주를 찬양하라. 오, 나의 혼아, 주를 찬양하라.
22 Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.
