<To the chief Musician upon Mahalath, Maschil, A Psalm of David.>

1 어리석은 자는 자기 마음속에 말하기를, “하나님은 없다.” 하였도다. 그들은 부패하고 가증한 죄악을 행하였도다. 선을 행하는 자가 아무도 없도다.

1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

2 하나님께서 하늘에서 사람들의 자녀들을 내려다보셨으니, 이해하고 하나님을 찾은 누군가가 있는지 보려 하심이라.

2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

3 그들 모두가 저마다 물러났도다. 그들은 함께 더러워졌도다. 선을 행하는 자가 없나니, 없도다, 한 사람도 없도다.

3 Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

4 죄악의 일꾼들은 지식이 없느냐? 그들이 빵을 먹듯이 나의 백성을 먹어 삼키는도다. 그들은 하나님을 부르지 아니하였도다.

4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.

5 그들은 두려움이 전혀 없는 곳에서 커다란 두려움 속에 있도다. 이는 하나님께서 너를 대적하여 주둔하는 자의 뼈들을 흩으셨기 때문이라. 하나님께서 그들을 멸시하셨으므로 네가 그들로 하여금 수치를 당하게 하였도다.

5 There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.

6 오, 이스라엘의 구원이 시온에서 나오기를 바라노라! 하나님께서 자신의 백성의 포로들을 다시 데려오실 때 야곱이 크게 기뻐할 것이요, 이스라엘이 반가워하리라.

6 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
