1 너희는 주를 찬송하라. 오, 나의 혼아, 주를 찬송하라.

1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.

2 내가 사는 동안 나는 주를 찬송하겠노라. 내가 존재하는 동안 찬송들로 나의 하나님을 노래하겠노라.

2 While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

3 너희의 신뢰를 통치자들에게 두지 말며, 사람의 아들에게도 두지 말라. 그 안에는 도움이 전혀 없느니라.

3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

4 그의 호흡이 나아가나니, 그는 그의 땅으로 되돌아가는도다. 바로 그날에 그의 생각들이 사라지느니라.

4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

5 야곱의 하나님을 자신의 도움으로 삼아서 자신의 소망이 주 그의 하나님께 있는 자는 행복하도다.

5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:

6 그분께서 하늘과 땅과 바다와 그 안에 있는 모든 것을 만드셨도다. 그분께서 진리를 영원토록 지키시는도다.

6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:

7 그분께서 압제받는 자들을 위하여 공의를 집행하시는도다. 그분께서 배고픈 자들에게 양식을 주시는도다. 주께서 갇힌 자들을 풀어 주시는도다.

7 Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:

8 주께서 눈먼 자들의 눈을 여시는도다. 주께서 아래로 숙여진 자들을 일으키시는도다. 주께서 의로운 자들을 사랑하시는도다.

8 The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:

9 주께서 타국인들을 보존하시는도다. 그분께서 아버지 없는 자와 과부를 구제하시나 사악한 자들의 길은 뒤집어엎으시는도다.

9 The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

10 오, 시온아, 주, 바로 너의 하나님께서 모든 세대들에 이르기까지 영원토록 통치하시리라. 너희는 주를 찬송하라.

10 The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.
