<다윗의 시편>
<A Psalm of David.>
1 오, 주여, 저의 기도를 들으소서. 저의 간구들을 귀담아들으소서. 당신의 신실하심과 당신의 의로우심 가운데 저에게 응답하소서.
1 Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.
2 그런즉 당신의 종과 함께 심판으로 들어가지 마소서. 이는 살아 있는 어떤 사람도 당신의 목전에서 정당함이 입증되지 못할 것이기 때문이니이다.
2 And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.
3 이는 원수가 저의 혼을 박해하였기 때문이니, 그가 저의 생명을 쳐서 땅바닥으로 쓰러뜨렸나이다. 그가 저로 하여금 죽은 지 오래된 자들같이 어둠 속에서 지내게 하였나이다.
3 For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.
4 그러므로 저의 영이 제 안에서 압도되나이다. 제 안에 있는 저의 마음이 황량하나이다.
4 Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.
5 제가 옛날들을 기억하나니, 저는 당신의 모든 역사들을 묵상하였나이다. 제가 당신의 두 손의 일을 유심히 바라보나이다.
5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.
6 제가 당신께 저의 두 손을 뻗나이다. 저의 혼이 물 없는 지역같이 당신을 목말라하나이다. 셀라.
6 I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.
7 오, 주여, 신속히 저의 말을 들으소서. 저의 영이 쇠하나이다. 당신의 얼굴을 저에게서 숨기지 마소서. 제가 구렁 속으로 내려가는 자들과 같아질까 하나이다.
7 Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.
8 저로 하여금 아침에 당신의 인애하심을 듣게 하소서. 이는 제가 당신을 신뢰하기 때문이니이다. 저로 하여금 제가 그 가운데 살아가야 하는 그 길을 알게 하소서. 이는 제가 당신께 저의 혼을 들어 올리기 때문이니이다.
8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
9 오, 주여, 저의 원수들로부터 저를 구출하소서. 제가 저를 숨기고자 당신께로 도망하나이다.
9 Deliver me, O LORD, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.
10 저를 가르치시어 당신의 뜻을 행하게 하소서. 당신께서는 나의 하나님이시기 때문이니이다. 당신의 영은 선하시니이다. 올바른 지역 가운데로 저를 이끄소서.
10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
11 오, 주여, 당신의 이름을 위하여 저를 소생시켜 주소서. 당신의 의를 위하여 저의 혼을 곤경에서 꺼내 주소서.
11 Quicken me, O LORD, for thy name's sake: for thy righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.
12 그리하여 당신의 자비로 저의 원수들을 끊어 버리시고 저의 혼을 괴롭히는 모든 자들을 멸하소서. 이는 제가 당신의 종이기 때문이니이다.
12 And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.
