1 당신께 우리가 감사들을 드리나이다. 오, 하나님이여, 당신께 우리가 감사들을 드리나이다. 이는 당신의 이름이 가까이 있음을 당신의 경이로운 역사들이 선언하기 때문이니이다.

1 Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.

2 내가 회중을 받아들일 때면 나는 올바르게 판단하리로다.

2 When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.

3 땅과 그곳의 모든 거주자들이 해체되었으나, 내가 그곳의 기둥들을 짊어지고 있도다. 셀라.

3 The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.

4 내가 어리석은 자들에게 말하기를, “어리석게 처신하지 말라.” 하였도다. 또 사악한 자들에게는, “뿔을 들어 올리지 말라.” 하였도다.

4 I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

5 너희의 뿔을 높이 들어 올리지 말고, 뻣뻣한 고개로 이야기하지 말라.

5 Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

6 이는 높이는 일이 동쪽에서나 서쪽에서나 남쪽에서 오는 것이 아니기 때문이라.

6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

7 오직 하나님만이 심판자시라. 그분께서 한 사람은 낮추시고 다른 사람은 세우시는도다.

7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

8 이는 주의 손에 잔이 하나 있고 그 포도주는 붉으며 그것은 혼합물로 가득하여 그분께서 바로 그것을 쏟아부으시기 때문이라. 그러나 그것의 찌끼들로 말하자면, 땅의 모든 사악한 자들이 그것들을 비틀어 짜내고, 그것들을 마시리라.

8 For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

9 그러나 나는 영원토록 선언하겠고, 내가 야곱의 하나님께 찬송들을 노래하겠노라.

9 But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

10 내가 사악한 자들의 모든 뿔들도 잘라 버리겠노라. 그러나 의로운 자들의 뿔들은 크게 높여지리라.

10 All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
