<아삽의 노래 또는 시편>
<A Song or Psalm of Asaph.>
1 오, 하나님이여, 당신께서는 잠잠하지 마소서. 오, 하나님이여, 당신의 침묵을 지키지 마시고 가만히 계시지 마소서.
1 Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
2 이는 보소서, 당신의 원수들이 소란을 일으키기 때문이니이다. 그런즉 당신을 증오하는 자들이 머리를 들어 올렸나이다.
2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
3 그들이 당신의 백성을 대적하여 간사한 계획을 짰고, 당신의 숨겨진 이들을 대적하여 협의하였나이다.
3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
4 그들은 말하기를, “오라, 우리가 그들을 끊어 버려서 민족이 되지 못하게 하자. 이는 이스라엘의 이름이 더 이상 기억 속에 존재하지 못하게 하려 함이라.” 하였나이다.
4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
5 이는 그들이 한마음으로 함께 협의하였기 때문이니이다. 그들이 당신을 대적하여 동맹을 맺나이다.
5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
6 곧, 에돔의 장막들과 이스마엘족들이요, 모압의 장막들과 하갈인들이요,
6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
7 그발과 암몬과 아말렉이요, 티레의 거주자들과 함께한 필리스티아인들이요,
7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 아수르도 그들에게 연합되어 있나이다. 그들이 롯의 후손들을 도왔나이다. 셀라.
8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.
9 미디안족들에게 행하신 것같이 그들에게 행하소서. 키손 시내에서 시스라와 야빈에게 행하신 것같이 행하소서.
9 Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
10 그들은 엔돌에서 망하였나이다. 그들은 땅을 위한 배설물같이 되었나이다.
10 Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.
11 그들의 귀족들을 오렙같이, 또 즈엡같이 되게 하소서. 진정 그들의 모든 통치자들은 제바같이, 또 잘문나같이 되게 하소서.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:
12 그들은 말하기를, “우리가 하나님의 집들을 우리 자신의 소유로 취하자.” 하였나이다.
12 Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.
13 오, 나의 하나님이여, 그들을 바퀴같이 되게 하시고, 바람 앞의 그루터기같이 되게 하소서.
13 O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
14 불이 나무숲을 태우듯이, 불꽃이 산들에 불을 붙이듯이,
14 As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;
15 이처럼 당신의 광풍으로 그들을 박해하시고 당신의 폭풍으로 그들을 무섭게 하소서.
15 So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.
16 오, 주여, 그들의 얼굴을 수치로 가득 채우시어 그들이 당신의 이름을 찾게 하소서.
16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.
17 그들이 영원토록 당혹스럽고 곤욕스러워하게 하소서. 진정 그들이 수치에 놓여 망하게 하소서.
17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:
18 이는 사람들로 하여금 당신의 이름만이 홀로 여호와라는 것과 당신께서 온 땅을 다스리시는 지극히 높으신 분이시라는 것을 알게 하려 함이니이다.
18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.
