1 오, 하나님이여, 어찌하여 당신께서 영원토록 우리를 던져 버리셨나이까? 어찌하여 당신의 초원의 양들을 대적하여 당신의 분노가 연기를 내뿜나이까?
1 O God, why hast thou cast us off for ever? why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?
2 당신께서 예로부터 사 오신 당신의 회중과, 당신께서 구속해 오신 당신의 유산의 막대기와, 당신께서 거해 오신 이 시온산을 기억하소서.
2 Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.
3 당신의 두 발을 영속적인 황량함들을 향하여, 곧 성소 안에서 사악하게 행한 그 원수의 모든 것을 향하여 들어 올리소서.
3 Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.
4 당신의 원수들이 당신의 회중들 한가운데서 포효하나이다. 그들이 자신들의 기치들을 표적들로 세웠나이다.
4 Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.
5 사람이 도끼들을 들어 두꺼운 나무들을 찍었던 만큼 그가 유명하였나이다.
5 A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees.
6 그러나 이제는 그들이 그것의 조각품을 도끼들과 망치들로 단번에 부수어 냈나이다.
6 But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers.
7 그들이 당신의 성소 안으로 불을 던졌나이다. 그들이 당신의 이름이 있는 처소를 지면에다 내던짐으로써 더럽혔나이다.
7 They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of thy name to the ground.
8 그들은 자신들의 마음속에 말하기를, “우리 함께 그것들을 파괴하자.” 하였나이다. 그들은 그 지역에 있는 하나님의 모든 회당들을 태워 버렸나이다.
8 They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land.
9 우리는 우리의 표적들을 보지 못하나니, 더 이상 어떤 예언자도 없으며 얼마나 오래갈지 아는 자도 우리 가운데 아무도 없나이다.
9 We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.
10 오, 하나님이여, 얼마나 오랫동안 대적이 비방하리이까? 원수가 당신의 이름을 영원토록 모독하리이까?
10 O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?
11 어찌하여 당신께서 당신의 손을, 곧 당신의 오른손을 거두시나이까? 그것을 당신의 품에서 꺼내소서.
11 Why withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand? pluck it out of thy bosom.
12 이는 하나님께서 예로부터 땅 한가운데서 구원을 이루시는 나의 왕이시기 때문이니이다.
12 For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
13 당신께서 당신의 힘으로 바다를 나누셨나이다. 당신께서 물들 속에서 용들의 머리들을 부수셨나이다.
13 Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.
14 당신께서 리바이어던의 머리들을 산산이 부수셨고, 광야에 거주하는 백성에게 음식이 되도록 그를 주셨나이다.
14 Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.
15 당신께서 원천과 큰물을 가르셨나이다. 당신께서 막강한 강들을 말려 버리셨나이다.
15 Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers.
16 낮이 당신의 것이요, 밤도 당신의 것이니이다. 당신께서 빛과 해를 예비하셨나이다.
16 The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.
17 당신께서 땅의 모든 경계들을 정하셨나이다. 당신께서 여름과 겨울을 만드셨나이다.
17 Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.
18 오, 주여, 이것을 기억하소서. 곧, 원수가 비방한 것과 어리석은 백성들이 당신의 이름을 모독한 것을 기억하소서.
18 Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O LORD, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.
19 오, 당신의 산비둘기의 혼을 사악한 자들의 무리에게 넘기지 마소서. 당신의 가난한 자들의 회중을 영원토록 잊지 마소서.
19 O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever.
20 언약을 유념하여 주소서. 이는 땅의 어두운 곳들이 잔인함의 거처들로 가득 찼기 때문이니이다.
20 Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.
21 오, 압제받는 자가 부끄럽게 되돌아가지 않게 하소서. 가난한 자들과 빈곤한 자들이 당신의 이름을 찬송하게 하소서.
21 O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name.
22 오, 하나님이여, 일어나소서. 당신의 주장을 친히 변호하소서. 어리석은 사람이 매일 당신을 어떻게 비방하는지 기억하소서.
22 Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.
23 당신의 원수들의 음성을 잊지 마소서. 당신을 대적하여 들고일어나는 자들의 소란이 지속적으로 늘어나나이다.
23 Forget not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually.
