<To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.>
1 오, 주여, 왕이 당신의 힘을 즐거워하리이다. 그가 당신의 구원을 대단히 크게 기뻐하리이다!
1 The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
2 당신께서 그에게 그의 마음의 열망을 주셨고 그의 입술의 요청을 불허하지 아니하셨나이다. 셀라.
2 Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.
3 이는 당신께서 선하심의 복들로 그를 앞서가시기 때문이니이다. 당신께서 그의 머리 위에 순금으로 된 왕관을 씌우시나이다.
3 For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.
4 그가 당신께 생명을 요청하였고, 당신께서 그것을 그에게 주셨으니, 곧 영원무궁토록 긴 날들이니이다.
4 He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.
5 그의 영광은 당신의 구원 가운데 위대하나이다. 존귀와 존엄을 당신께서 그의 위에 두셨나이다.
5 His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.
6 이는 당신께서 영원토록 그를 지극히 복된 자로 삼으셨기 때문이니이다. 당신께서 당신의 얼굴로 그를 지극히 흡족하게 하셨나이다.
6 For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.
7 이는 왕이 주를 신뢰하기 때문이요, 지극히 높으신 분의 자비를 통하여 그가 동요하지 않을 것이기 때문이니이다.
7 For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.
8 당신의 손이 당신의 모든 원수들을 찾아내리이다. 당신의 오른손이 당신을 증오하는 자들을 찾아내리이다.
8 Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
9 당신께서 그들을 마치 당신의 분노의 때에 불의 화덕같이 만드시리이다. 주께서 그들을 그분의 진노 가운데 삼켜 버리실 것이요, 불이 그들을 집어삼키리이다.
9 Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
10 당신께서 그들의 열매를 땅에서 멸하실 것이요, 그들의 씨를 사람들의 자녀들 사이에서 멸하시리라.
10 Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.
11 이는 그들이 당신을 대적하여 악을 작정하였기 때문이니이다. 그들이 해로운 계책을 구상하였으나 그들은 그것을 능히 수행하지 못하나이다.
11 For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.
12 그러므로 당신께서 친히 그들의 얼굴을 대적하여 당신의 화살들을 당신의 활시위에 준비시키실 때 그들로 하여금 그들의 등을 돌리게 하시리이다.
12 Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.
13 주여, 당신께서는 자신이 소유한 힘으로 크게 높여지소서. 그런즉 우리가 당신의 권능을 노래하고 찬송하겠나이다.
13 Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.
